Pimpn, Snoop Dogg was heavily featured on the Chronic album before doggystyle was released. Who's not going platinum w/ the chronic cosign, deep cover track, and gin n juice single BEFORE the 1st album was dropped. Snoop was a terrible example for you to post. However a rapper as prominent as Pac would take rap in to a different direction and change the course of music. That's what great artists do, they start movements and lead.

Jay said he felt "cheated" that Pac and BIG died because he never got to hang with the best of them. Its like when Tommy gun wins the title in Rocky 5, but the fans are still cheering for retired "Rocky"

In the last 14 years of Pacs death there have been many 2pac clones in all shapes and sizes, his style of music, content, image and life was fascinating thus why he inspired many dope ( e.g J Cole) and wack ( e.g Waka Flocka) rappers to come.

Most definitely. Pac was doing waaayyy too much and in 94 it set the stage for his end. I give Pac his Thug application and T.H.U.G. Philosophy credit, but Pac was no Gangster & he should not have been shocked about what happened in NY. Yes the rape charge was a set up, but the robbery had nothing to do with the Government, he was just out of his league and hung around with, associated with, accepted gifts from & rejected the wrong people at the wrong time.
