that what I was trying to explain to the tupac stan earlier. I said Pac's debut album only went gold just like Jay-Z. He said but that was jay-z's best album it should of sold more. He not understandin, Jay-Z was just local at the time with an independent album release. Pac 1st album didn't go platinum cuz he was unknown thru out the states and regional in cali. Same situation with Jay-Z, the nigga was just local w/ his 1st album. It's very few artist that go platinum on their debut album.
