It's primarily going to be Walmart Express stores......which are nothing more than grocery stores.

Meaning, no tv's, cell phones, computers, toys, etc.

Just food.

Cuttin a store in half, and taking away a whole shift from 300 stores will save them a ton of money. I guarantee walmart loses more money than it makes from 10 PM to5 AM. I've never seen a nigga in the fish section either. Nothin worse than a bloated business. It was cool while it was cool, and it was convenient for like 8% of people for a time, but that's not good for business.

Nah... They are focusing more on their supercenters and e-commerce. With more people shopping online, they can close up many of the smaller Neighborhood Walmart stores and focus more on the bigger Supercenters, providing wage increases and better customer service. It's a strategic move that would definitely be a win for them, the customers and employees.

The opposite of what I said, makes sense though.

It's another sign that we're falling to another recession. People need to realize that in regards to things like the economy, ISIS, policies, Obama is just running out the clock.

Walmart has been doing this for years now. They have been experimenting putting smaller stores next to colleges and in Northeast cities. I went to one in the Philly area. they have a small one next to Ga Tech.

Wally has about 5k stores in the US alone ...... closing about 300 ain't shit cause they're still stores opening. .....they got a super about to anchor a mall out here in Phoenix.

I've never seen a Walmart anchor a mall ......even though the mall was half dead and they cut the deal for a ridiculous discount .....if they can bring the shoppers back to the mall, this is going to be the start of a trend
