I wonder who that was that popped up in the car with Father Gabriel as he rode off.

Cool episode.

I think it's Dre (Heath) lol...nah shit, Im wondering too. I hope they don't drag the shit out and then it end up being some meaningless character.

^^eh. Prequel shit sounds misguided imo. The whole initial draw of TDW was that it was told from Ricks POV, as a cop who awakes from a coma and finds himself in the zombie apocalypse. The viewer experiences the world as he does, as he is jus thrown into the situation. Compared to following around that army dude who was in the tank @ the end of the pilot.

a lot ppl shit on S2, but I thought it was cool. It did seem like they were looking for Sophia forever. But ppl gotta realize that was @ the start of the outbreak. It'd be hard for any group of ppl to jus leave a little girl stranded like that.

but its clear that the show overall would be much better if Frank Darabont was never fired

I dont understand what other hobbies they want characters to take in a zombie apocalypse.

Not every episode is gonna be action.

seem like some expect a main character to die each episode or something. Expectations are high

Solid points made by dude...

He makes solid points but he also loses points when he says "I didn't watch it" or "I don't remember." I mean do some research at least. He could have made some really exceptional arguments without outing himself as a dude who half watches the show.

TWD is very tropey and repetitive, the show is like the book which is very character heavy but the difference is there is more action in the comic and greater consequences.

The juicing of the show which makes them stretch everything is what's killing it. A damn month would go by without anything happening then they have aquarter season finale or some shit when something important takes place.

I agree that they should invest in characters more so it means more when they die. This show probably has too many "main characters" with plot armor. I do like that they use characters to open the world up (by splitting up the groups) it gives new characters and some background characters a chance to shine but at the same time it slows everything down to a snail's pace.

That may work in a novel, it doesn't work for TV.
