biggest thing with wale this time around is that the DC area is definitely with him this time. not sure how that will translate sales wise b/c niggas round the way still gonna bootleg that shit. But he got number 1 songs on the radio and some more shit. For AD he got very little radio play and had no interviews or anything expect the day his album dropped. i actually tried to buy the shit at the store but it was sold out everywhere in the area.

i think he does about 89,000

Wale needs to break out that black women fanbase thing, because if he is relying on that to sell he is mistaken.

thread still might be applicable..

if cole can do whatever he does.. wale can do it too on his sophomore cause they fanbases basically the same..plus he got songs on the radio... and he got the same online presence

There fanbase is not the same, Wale doesn't connect with his fans like Cole does, a very large percentage of Cole fans went out and bought the album, he got a ride of die fanbase like a Jay or Nas,or Lupe.

I don't know if he's doing this to sell records, that's just him. But it's too late he's stuck there.

Honestly Wales Music is much more enjoyable and way more entertaining than J Coles Music and in reality Wale is below average himself

I honestly never heard anyone in the real world outside the IC either talk about J Cole or Wale or bump their Music and this is no lie i sweat to God i honestly never heard anyone out here bump they Music once

But like i said Wale is way better J Cole is always going to fail unless he learns how to craft decent Songs i don't think there even is a much more boring Rapper to listen to than J Cole today

False, if you ever been to a J Cole show you would know his fanbase is diverse as fuck. He has tapped into the white college kid fanbase, Wale has tapped into that base at all.

The Rappers Rick Ross has signed like Meek Mill, French Montana, Wale are much better than the poor Rappers Jay Z has signed like True Life, Uncle Murda, Memphis Bleek, J Cole

There is a reason why Jay Z has never discovered and signed a Platinum selling Rapper and that is cos he really sucks as a Record Label CEO we all know Dame Dash was the CEO and was the success behind Rocafella Jay Z was just the Rapper until 2004 when Rocafella split since 2004 when he became a CEO not 1 success story

Musically Maybach Music Group is so much superior to Roc Nation in terms of quality of Music and succesful selling Albums Rick Ross catalouge is way superior to Jay Z's catalouge and they are very similar style of Rappers almost identical as far as Content/Subject Matter, Formula, Topics etc

you might as well update that avi pussy.

161k sold with only 54% reported. hitsdailydouble.com

I only bet on sure things.

Foolish bet.

Anybody that keeps their ears to the industry would know not to underestimate the selling power of a J.Cole in this era.

Wale is on a roll right now with the biggest song of his career in rotation and he has a heavy buzz with the college crowd and the Sista's so the sky is the limit.

I think J. Cole has more cross-over appeal but Wale got his city behind him and a stronger team.

He sold what 200K on a Major Record Label with big name features like Trey Songz that is way more than i thought he would sell but 200K is nothing special at all he hasn't got a Gold or Platinum Plaque hasn't had a Hit Single yet

Outside Internet message boards and blogs J Cole is extremley irrelevant and no 1 cares for him like that

Who can do better than 250k first week? Eminem,Lil Wayne,Kanye,Jay-Z,Drake and Nicki Minaj. Thats it. look at all the first week numbers TIP did 130 something, Ross did 160, Wiz 193, Lupe 200, nobody else can but those that I mentioned. He's going to go Gold thats almost assured. Work Out sits at 39 on itunes and was 74 on the charts so he might break top 40 on the singles chart Thursday. He'll get more exposure with the #1 album in the country which means more radio stations will spin his record. He'll have hits. I come with #'s what you got?

J Cole can not cross over and create a succsful Hit Single to save his life

Who Dat failed and flopped terribley

Work Out failed and flopped terribley

Can't Get Enough flopped and failed terribley

And these are some of the most Pop, commercial, friendley Singles you can hear with big names like Trey Songz featuring yet still flopping

Selling about 200K means nothing if you not getting a Plaque or headlining your own tour

Same with Producing no Rappers are going to J Cole for Beats or interested in his Beats at all
