They're focused on gettin money and makin music not appeal to hip hop fans that dont buy albums lol (not that you dont). Those are the only ones that say that shit about battling. Lil' Kim has some dope songs post Hardcore. None of her albums are as good as that one, but all of them had gems. I like Nicki Minaj, but I can't front like her album isn't reminiscent of what Kim was doing on Notorious K.I.M. which was basically saying she was top female in the game, blatantly and indirectly dissing competition, singing, rapping over techno and pop influenced beats.
