And for added emphasis Quik the HipHop 'Prince' so to speak. Produces every note on his music..

Compared to 'Ye who sadly uses like 10 different niggas on one song. Plus Mike Dean his ghost producer now

Okay lets do this...he made college drop better than anything ya boy did...wait a second i just dissed u.mmm..i said he ya boy have u heard quick rap he sound like a girl an he off beat like silk the shocker with a ray j accent...

This nigga said Silk with a Ray J accent... LOL. Quik is a GOAT tho, especially on the instrumentation side

TLOP came and went for me, maybe got a week of burn and haven't been moved to listen to it since

I hope he proves me wrong on this but I think from what we've seen from Kanye he's peaked musically

DJ Quik ain't even wrong though.

We gonna act like Kanye hasn't been an attention seeking clown the past however many years? The difference is his music ain't as good as it used to be and he's become gimmicky.

Props to quik for speaking his mind. Too many of these rappers be in interviews talking about the sad state of hiphop then wanna keep it politically correct and mention everyone thats popular when they get asked who they listen to

Truth

Kanye's fall off is a tragedy in itself. Compare the bullshit he puts out these days to College Dropout & Late Registration.

He has like 4 good songs in the past 2 albums combined.

I wonder what happened to that Late Registration/College Dropout Kanye. Dude was nice with the wordplay. Now its like some sub par shit just to keep up with the new trash

His ghostwriter abandoned ship.

I listened to TLOP once...MAYBE twice but thats it. Dude so far from his roots now I have no interest in him really.

To address what Quik said, it was the real. Kanye has always been Kanye biggest fan but now its reached megalomania where he thinks he doing his best shit and its not hitting at all anymore.

Its like that scene in Dewey Cox where everyone is confused about what the fuck he's doing

If these last couple of albums didn't have Kanye name on em its doubtful people would have even listened to that shit and rightfully so. Dude not even trying anymore.

if he bought the album he has a right to an opinion.

He ain't buy it tho

Now what's your excuse?

Rhymefest himself said it. There is nothin to debate about.

Foh any person with hip hop sense feels the same way, we reject kanye and his new nigga raps and' how many producers does it take to screw in a light bulb' beats.

I agree w/ what he said about Kanye's celebrity superseding his talent right now. I think Ye is capable of waaay better than what he's put out since MBDTF. That's not to say that I don't like Yeezus or TLOP. Both albums definitely have their moments (especially TLOP), and I prefer both over 808s. Ye is just on some other shit right now.....hence the "I miss they old Kanye" interlude. In his quest to be "creative", I think a lot of his fans feel like he's losing what made him undeniably dope. There is certainly nothing wrong w/ evolving and experimenting artistically.

The problem comes when the quality of the product is adversely affected by that evolution.

Slept on post !!!!!!!

Ye came in the game with his production,

and he barely even produce his own shit anymore..

And on top of that,

This nigga don't even write his own raps..
