I was speaking more generally. I'm not under the misconception that all fertilizer is made from the mentioned source. I stated that it could be and there are far worse things in those land fills. You also have to factor in third world practices being generally unsafe. Still, I'm not advocating such a practice. The United States actually uses a lot of chemical fertilizer which does more harm.
