It's not a matter of morality even. Smokin weed doesn't hurt anyone, and a lot of people agree there's nothin wrong with it except it's illegal. But if a dude gets caught sellin a buncha weed he's gonna get locked up. If Vick had gone to jail cuz it turns out he was funding a drug-dealin organization, people wouldn't stand up for him like this. They'd just say he got what he deserved for bein so stupid. Hell he could probably even make the same argument that dealin drugs was part of the culture he grew up in.
