The intro was a proper way to start off an album.

This album is good as fuck. Like, surprisingly good. He's a damn good lyricist, has a good flow, probably the best "singing" rapper we've had this side of Phonte, good content and sequencing, and damn good production.

Even though the content is diverse, Vic is very focused here. Helluva way to kick off your mainstream career.

I give it about an 8.5 or so. Came away impressed.

I think he's too insecure and sensitive as an artist and wastes his opportunities. Nigga had Jay and Kanye cosign him and this when Kanye was still in the right mind SMMFH. It's too late for Vic at this point and he doesn't have the star power or charisma. He got the chance (no pun) and dragged his feet thinking he had it made. He should have been what Cole is now.

Can't co-sign this, bruh. I think ol boy has plenty of time. You talking like the nigga washed already. The album is damn good.

Whether or not it translates into actual album sales doesn't mean as much as it used to. Not the way the game is structured nowadays.

If you put out good music, one way or another, everything will eventually fall into place. Joey Bad ain't do phenomenal numbers his debut. Look where he is now.
