I'd rather keep it to the panel, which I am not sure of, but the ideal panel would be made up of PROFESSIONALmusicians and PROFESSIONAL critiques.

Damn. The more I read the posts and look back at the lists show more and more people left out. No Charlie Parker? Or at least Miles Davis AT LTEAST!!!!. Somebody mentioned Sinatra. Janet. R. Kelly (solo male R&B is him or Usher, and neither of them?), Boys II Men, Sam Cooke.

Happy Sade got some love, though. Almost didn't see her (or them).
