But situations like this, you mean to tell me that there aren't any club venues in NYC that hold at least 1,000 people? I mean from booking a venue that can take 1500, 2000 people to booking a spot that can hold barely 500, of course you are expecting a chaos after that.
I heard they gonna do a 1 off with Surf and Con, I hope all the emcees do that too. Fuck the crowd's reaction/participation.
cosign fuck the crowds participation but on a football sunday and having such short notice im not suprised they couldn't find anything better. The biggest thing is having security and extra event staff on hand and you cant just orginize that in one day. plus if your the club you gotta worry about liability because you have angry fans and rappers coming into your venue and you gotta figure out how much you can profit.
plus there is allot of things with filing with the police and stuff for gatherings over a certain event im sure too that couldn't be done in one day. and everything i just said is considering a scenario where niggas are orginized and plan for everything and we all know smidddiacckkkk and his crew are unorginized as hell with releasing videos and orginizing events. The success of the battlers in previous years not the planning of smack is why they get the views and artists like dizaster trying to battle and why they have advertisers wanting to put money up.
