i feel you Du...anybody that is just being themselves regardless of where tehy grew up will always be taken more seriously than a nigga who is clearly frontin...but at the same time I know that in the hood there's a perception that people who grew up in a certain neighborhood and family environment aren't as "hard" as people who grew up in the hood...like their lives couldn't have had some sort of turmoil in them just because they live in a nice neighborhood w/ both parents
