Here is mine
.Kobe Bryant-Out of his prime but still the most complete player in the league..Continues to add to his game every year, and has 5 rings to show for the work he's put in..Not as good as he once was defensively, but still maintains a high level on D..No holes in his game at all..
.Dwyane Wade-One of the best "scorers" and off ball defenders in the NBA and his midrange is damn near second to none..Great finisher and gets to the rack at will and a good rebounder for his position..1 ring and will be in his prime for another 3 or 4 years....If he improve his long range shooting he could be even better..
.LeBron James-Best athlete in the league hands down. Jumpshot has come a long way but can still get better..Gets beat occasionaly but is an above average defender...Great rebounder..Another guy who gets to the rack at will and is the best finisher at the basket in the league..Improve his "clutchness" he could be the guy the media thinks he is..2 mvps to show for his work
.Chris Paul-Best point guard and floor general in the league and has a nice outside shot and good defense to match..If you were to build a point guard, it would be this guy..Can control the pace of the game in an effortless way..Only like 26 and can get even better which is scary..Great passer..
.Dirk Nowitzki-One of, if not the top shot maker in the league and the biggest matchup problem in the NBA..Great post game and average defense, but has proven that he's a great leader for his team..2 years or so left in his prime and his game is maxed out..1 ring and 1 mvp to show for his work
.Derrick Rose-Athletically on another level, not just for a point guard, but as a player...Another explosive/get to the rack player with an improved jumper that will only get better, with him being only 22 ..Once he improves his defense (cuz it's not good) he wil most likely move up in the top 5 with Kobe, Dirk and DWade getting older in the next few years..a mvp so far to show for his work
.Dwight Howard-Hands down, the best defender (as a big man) in the NBA..Dude can control the game on the defensive and is probably the best rebounder in the league...Offensively he's been coming along slowly but surely, but will definitely move up the list as the years go on..couple defensive player of the year awards to show for his work
.Carmelo Anthony-Probably the best "pure scorer" the NBA has to offer right now and that's been the knock on him, with people saying he's to one dimensional..However he's a good rebounder and he's not as bad a defender as people try to make you believe..underrated passer..Another player with potential to move up my list..
.Kevin Durant-Much like Carmelo on the offensive end, but the difference is Carmelo is more versatile on offense, with the post and things like that...Durant is a great talent and a deadly shooter at times, but he needs a lot of work to complete his game(which is fine cuz he's young as hell)..Defense needs alot of work and he should average more rebounds at his height..He'll be a top 5 player for the majority of his career..2 scoring titles already, could add more..
.Brandon Roy (When healthy)-Dude has one of the most effortless looking games in the league..He doesn't have any glaring weaknesses, and can take over a game at any moment (showed a flash of that in the playoffs this year)..The knock on him is that he can be too passive at times, and he has average D..Everything else is good..WHEN HE'S HEALTHY..
.Deron Williams-Great point guard with more explosiveness than what people give him credit for..Great size for a point guard and a good passer with a nice outside shot...Above average defender, but can still improve defensively if he puts the work in..
.Amare Stoudemire-He can be flat out unstoppable on the offensive end at times and did his self a big favor by adding a jumpshot to his game a few years ago..He just needs to be motivated to play D, cuz he's all the tools needed to be a dominant defender..Not a great rebounder either, however he's not terrible..
.Pau Gasol-Highly skilled offensive player and an above average defensive game..His lack of heart really makes him not appear to be a top player in the league, but he is..Skilled passer as well...Don't see how he could improve his game other than getting more physical and playing with more heart..2 rings with the chance to get more..
.Steve Nash-Would've been higher a few years ago, but he's tailed off slightly due to age, but is still probably the best passer in the league along with Chris Paul..Deadly shooter..in the 90-50-40 club which is just ridiculous shooting..2 Mvp's to show for his work..Great pg..
.Monta Ellis-This may come as a shock that he's this high on my list but he is an scoring machine for his size..Fast as hell and gets to the basket with the best of'em, and can shoot the ball well..Doesn't have great size but scores at a high clip..D could be alot better(but he's young)...and an underrated passer..everaged almost 6 assts a game this year..
.Joe Johnson-I know he's overpaid, but he's productive enough to get into my top 20..Most of the time he plays within himself and you always know what your gonna get out of him (other than the orlando series in 2010)..but overall he's an average defender and can take over the game when he gets in one of his zones offensively..just not worth 120 mil..
.LaMarcus Aldridge-At the rate he's improving at, he'll be in my top 10 in no time..He played alot more aggresive this year..Has a great mid range game, and can even knock down the three if left wide open..Got better defensively and on the boards and will probably get better since he's only about to turn 26..
.Rajon Rondo-Not a great player, but he can control a whole game by his self without putting much up in the scoring column and that says alot..good on ball defense, that will be great one day, and sets the table nicely for his scorers..great rebounder for his position to..already played a big part in a championship..
.Blake Griffin-Averaged 22 & 12 his 1st year playing, he had to make the list..athletic as hell and has already shown the ability to be dominant on the boards..he'll be a good defender and will be in my top 10 within the next 2 or 3 years easily..rookie of the year..
.Kevin Martin-My favorite player in the league, and probably the most underrated scorer in the NBA..has a knack for getting to the rim and the foul line..Also has a deadly outside shot and can hit 40 at any given time...However, he doesn't rebound and has low assist numbers yearly..Improved defensively, but still nothing to be prasing..
Honorable Mention..Paul Pierce, Danny Granger, Kevin Love, Zach Randolph, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili, Russel Westbrook, Tyreke Evans...
