Here is mine

1.Kobe Bryant-Out of his prime but still the most complete player in the league..Continues to add to his game every year, and has 5 rings to show for the work he's put in..Not as good as he once was defensively, but still maintains a high level on D..No holes in his game at all..

2.Dwyane Wade-One of the best "scorers" and off ball defenders in the NBA and his midrange is damn near second to none..Great finisher and gets to the rack at will and a good rebounder for his position..1 ring and will be in his prime for another 3 or 4 years....If he improve his long range shooting he could be even better..

3.LeBron James-Best athlete in the league hands down. Jumpshot has come a long way but can still get better..Gets beat occasionaly but is an above average defender...Great rebounder..Another guy who gets to the rack at will and is the best finisher at the basket in the league..Improve his "clutchness" he could be the guy the media thinks he is..2 mvps to show for his work

4.Chris Paul-Best point guard and floor general in the league and has a nice outside shot and good defense to match..If you were to build a point guard, it would be this guy..Can control the pace of the game in an effortless way..Only like 26 and can get even better which is scary..Great passer..

5.Dirk Nowitzki-One of, if not the top shot maker in the league and the biggest matchup problem in the NBA..Great post game and average defense, but has proven that he's a great leader for his team..2 years or so left in his prime and his game is maxed out..1 ring and 1 mvp to show for his work

6.Derrick Rose-Athletically on another level, not just for a point guard, but as a player...Another explosive/get to the rack player with an improved jumper that will only get better, with him being only 22 ..Once he improves his defense (cuz it's not good) he wil most likely move up in the top 5 with Kobe, Dirk and DWade getting older in the next few years..a mvp so far to show for his work

7.Dwight Howard-Hands down, the best defender (as a big man) in the NBA..Dude can control the game on the defensive and is probably the best rebounder in the league...Offensively he's been coming along slowly but surely, but will definitely move up the list as the years go on..couple defensive player of the year awards to show for his work

8.Carmelo Anthony-Probably the best "pure scorer" the NBA has to offer right now and that's been the knock on him, with people saying he's to one dimensional..However he's a good rebounder and he's not as bad a defender as people try to make you believe..underrated passer..Another player with potential to move up my list..

9.Kevin Durant-Much like Carmelo on the offensive end, but the difference is Carmelo is more versatile on offense, with the post and things like that...Durant is a great talent and a deadly shooter at times, but he needs a lot of work to complete his game(which is fine cuz he's young as hell)..Defense needs alot of work and he should average more rebounds at his height..He'll be a top 5 player for the majority of his career..2 scoring titles already, could add more..

10.Brandon Roy (When healthy)-Dude has one of the most effortless looking games in the league..He doesn't have any glaring weaknesses, and can take over a game at any moment (showed a flash of that in the playoffs this year)..The knock on him is that he can be too passive at times, and he has average D..Everything else is good..WHEN HE'S HEALTHY..

11.Deron Williams-Great point guard with more explosiveness than what people give him credit for..Great size for a point guard and a good passer with a nice outside shot...Above average defender, but can still improve defensively if he puts the work in..

12.Amare Stoudemire-He can be flat out unstoppable on the offensive end at times and did his self a big favor by adding a jumpshot to his game a few years ago..He just needs to be motivated to play D, cuz he's all the tools needed to be a dominant defender..Not a great rebounder either, however he's not terrible..

13.Pau Gasol-Highly skilled offensive player and an above average defensive game..His lack of heart really makes him not appear to be a top player in the league, but he is..Skilled passer as well...Don't see how he could improve his game other than getting more physical and playing with more heart..2 rings with the chance to get more..

14.Steve Nash-Would've been higher a few years ago, but he's tailed off slightly due to age, but is still probably the best passer in the league along with Chris Paul..Deadly shooter..in the 90-50-40 club which is just ridiculous shooting..2 Mvp's to show for his work..Great pg..

15.Monta Ellis-This may come as a shock that he's this high on my list but he is an scoring machine for his size..Fast as hell and gets to the basket with the best of'em, and can shoot the ball well..Doesn't have great size but scores at a high clip..D could be alot better(but he's young)...and an underrated passer..everaged almost 6 assts a game this year..

16.Joe Johnson-I know he's overpaid, but he's productive enough to get into my top 20..Most of the time he plays within himself and you always know what your gonna get out of him (other than the orlando series in 2010)..but overall he's an average defender and can take over the game when he gets in one of his zones offensively..just not worth 120 mil..

17.LaMarcus Aldridge-At the rate he's improving at, he'll be in my top 10 in no time..He played alot more aggresive this year..Has a great mid range game, and can even knock down the three if left wide open..Got better defensively and on the boards and will probably get better since he's only about to turn 26..

18.Rajon Rondo-Not a great player, but he can control a whole game by his self without putting much up in the scoring column and that says alot..good on ball defense, that will be great one day, and sets the table nicely for his scorers..great rebounder for his position to..already played a big part in a championship..

19.Blake Griffin-Averaged 22 & 12 his 1st year playing, he had to make the list..athletic as hell and has already shown the ability to be dominant on the boards..he'll be a good defender and will be in my top 10 within the next 2 or 3 years easily..rookie of the year..

20.Kevin Martin-My favorite player in the league, and probably the most underrated scorer in the NBA..has a knack for getting to the rim and the foul line..Also has a deadly outside shot and can hit 40 at any given time...However, he doesn't rebound and has low assist numbers yearly..Improved defensively, but still nothing to be prasing..

Honorable Mention..Paul Pierce, Danny Granger, Kevin Love, Zach Randolph, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili, Russel Westbrook, Tyreke Evans...

OK:

1) Dirk - Best player in the league right now. Pretty consistent his whole career but went off the entire postseason. Sucked up the shit and willed the squad to the ring. If that ain't considered tops, then fuck you.

2) D. Wade - Most dangerous slasher in the league. When he gets going, people can't fuck with him. Peroid.

3) Kobe - Best closer. Still holds that title; has the best competitive drive in the game, even though it's clear he's wearing down.

4) LeBron - Still the most gifted athlete in the league. All he needs is a post game and a heart as cold as ice in the clutch.

5) Dwight - Most physically dominant player in the league. Still needs two more post moves and better FT %, then he'll be unstoppable.

6) CP3 - Most complete point guard, hands down. Can see the floor better than anyone handling the rock.

7) Melo - Probably the best pure offensive talent in the 'A. Needs work on defense, but can count on him in the clutch when you need a bucket.

8) Durant - Brightest future in the league. Needs to put on 20 lbs of muscle and get some real good D, but dude can flat-out ball.

9) D. Rose - A.I. reborn. Awesomely explosive. SERIOUSLY needs to work on his J, though.

10) Amare - Say what you want, before Melo got to NY, he held the Knicks down. Proved he can snap w/o Nash feeding him.

11) Pau - Most skilled big man in the league. Spaniard needs juevos, though...

12) Bosh - All emotions and potential homo shit aside, Bosh is very good at the PF spot. Stepped his game up in the playoffs, especially against the Bulls.

13) Deron Williams - Best scoring PG in the league. Can carry a squad when healthy or in a good situation.

14) P-Squared - Still consistently dangerous when needed to be. Still the best player in Beantown.

15) Rondo - Awesome PG, see the floor better than alot of people. Plays his heart out. Needs a better J ASAP, though.

16) Blake Griffin - He has the best potential in the league. 2nd most athletically gifted player (next to LeBron), but needs to develop a basketball game.

17) Steve Nash - I love his game. The most unselfish player probably ever. Get him the fuck out of Phoenix.

18) Kevin Love - Dude is fundamentally sound. And crazy consistent. The record he put proved that he can do that shit night in, night out.

19) Jesus Shuttlesworth - Say what you want, he still has the prettiest shot in the game. And he STAY being clutch.

20) (tie) LaMarcus Aldridge and KG - I'm sorry, but even in Garnett's older age, he still has the best defensive presence. And LaMarcus carried Portland on his back, even after being initally the 3rd option. That counts for alot.

1) Why the fuck you care about MY list?

2) How didn't Dirk suck shit up...the whole "Drik/Mavs are chokers label" he fought off the whole postseason...the flu shit in the Finals. Dude balled in all four series this postseason. They could've folded when Portland came back to beat after they were up 23. Held the shit together. Swept LA. All that. That ain't worthy of the top spot right now? FOH.

I'm sure it will change once the next season goes on, but as of NOW, he should be considered the best player in the NBA. Not cause they won the chip, but because HE CARRIED them there, for the most part.

Amazing how it took Dirk damn near a decade and a half to win a ring but he's the "GOAT" suddenly, but niggas laughin' at Lebron for being 26 without a ring.

I seem to remember somebody else who hadn't even been to the Finals yet at the age of 26....

1. Lebron James- I can give damn what the rest of the world saying, son is the best player on earth *FOR NOW. Never has the league seen anyone a player that can get the amount of rebounds and assists playing the point forward since Magic. He's a athletic specimen but he still pretty raw and incomplete. I honestly believe his defense is overrated at the moment he gets beat consistently and looks to make the highlight play. If he refuses to get better he can drop quickly out of the top 5.

2. Dwight Howard- its very rare in this era to have a big man with his type of athleticism and ability to defend. The guy can improve any teams defense tenfold. If your startinng a team with this guy your getting the best defender in the game and a guy peaking offensively that will get you 25 and 15 every night.

3. Dwayne Wade- excellent all around game. Can get to the rack has a decent enought 15 ft to keep defenses honest and can also go in on the blocks. Plays the same gamble defense as his sidekick but is better on the ball. Body has taken some punishment though not sure how long he can stay at the top of the list.

4. Chris Paul- best PG in the league and best pure guard the league has seen in years. A slight notch below Magic in play making ability. His off ball defense is excellent he will consistently lead the league in steals for years to come. Easily the best shooting PG in the game from all ranges.

5. Kobe Bryant- here on my list by default due his all around game and intensity brings to game. Has slowed down considerably and after this coming season I don't see him being much of huge threat anymore. Still a good on ball defender though he gets away with some old tricks. Athletically he can't do on offense anymore but his IQ its at its peak right now.

6. Kevin Durant- still a little raw but once he puts some damn meat on his bones and starts working the high post and blocks on a consistent bases this guy might end up being the best scorer ever better than Jordan yea I said it. His defend is ok for now but it will get better. Look for him to be at the top of the list in a couple yrs.

7. Derrick Rose- reminds me a lot of jordan trying to do it all in his early years once he realizes he has guys around him he will challenge Paul for the best guard in the game. Their should be no reason this guy can't average 20 and 10 FOR HiS CAREER with the way he gets to the the rack. Don't count on this being his last MVP award. Potential to be the best in the game and top 5 PG ever with Paul.

8. Lamarcus Alfridge- guy has serious potential can stretch the court and shoot from all ranges and is a fool in the blocks. Can end up being the best defensive forward in the game if Portland puts some piecces around him they get out the west on multiple occassions.

9. Deron Williams- people seem to forgetting about dude. Although he's been lost in a wasteland the guy still has the best handles in the game and can score at absolute will. Hopefully he can concentrate on getting a couple more dishes. His defense is pretty good also. I don't see him improving his game much from this point though. Look for him to drop on the lust.

10. Carmelo Anthony sorry guy isn't much of a ball player to me and its sickening. Yea he scores the ball at a high clip but he isn't really efficient and doesn't do much of anything else on the court which is a black mark for someone of his caliber. Defense and rebounding has to improve.

LeBrons hype and expectation are alot higher than Dirk's..The way he's slurped in the media (up until this year) you woulda thought that nigga already won a ring or 2.

IMO to be the best player in the nba, you have to do it on both ends of the floor.

1} LeBron- This years finals has to hurt his cause, but Lebron is still the best player in the league. His passing, athletic, and scoring ability is unmatched by any body in the NBA.

2} D-Wade- Best two-guard in the league. His defense, slashing ability, and mid-range are unstoppable. He needs to improve his long range game, but he is fine the way he is now.

3} Dirk- Best 7ft jumshooter this league has ever seen. His playoff performance has to be one of the best of all time. Still a little soft on defense, but he is improving and that's all you can ask for.

4} Dwight Howard- Best big man in the league by far. His power, athleticism, and quickness is unmatched and unparalleled.

5} Chris Paul- His performance against the Lakers put back at the top of the pgs list. He can score, lead, pass, and rebound with best of em.

6} 'Melo- Best scorer in the league. Can post up, hit the mid-range shot, pull for three, and dunk on you. With him and Amare having a full summer together, look for the Knicks to be making noise in next years playoffs.

7} Kevin Durant- Second best scorer in the league behind 'Melo.. Needs to be more assertive at times, but can score at will.

8) Kobe- His game has dropped significantly, and these playoffs haven't done him any good. He still can score at will and can hit some amazing shots.

9) Derrick Rose- Best scoring pg this league has. Improved his jumpshot drastically.

10) Derron Williams- Best combination of scoring and passing ability in the league. Can give you 40 points or 20assist on any given night.

11) Amare

12) Zach Randolph

13) Russel Westbrook

14) Lamarcus Aldridge

15) Kevin Love

16) Monta Ellis

17) Pau Gasol

18) Ginobli

19) Blake Griffin

20) Chris Bosh
