They're not top 5. They've had success in their franchise....but they aren't top 5.

Ya man. This is since the franchise started. And it counts stuff like fan base, and the Cowboys have a bigger fan base, and better stadium than any other team. Maybe any other team in any American sport. And they had a dynasty, and even though they aren't makin playoff runs right now, they still usually have a good record, and a good team. The Patriots started winning SB's in more recent years, and had the whole spygate incident. Also, if the Pats go like 10 or 15 years (or however long it was) w/o winnin a playoff game like the Cowboys, I'm not sure their fans would keep showin up. Pats fans walked out on the Bengals game this year while the Pats were winnin. Brady even spoke on it and said he didn't like it.

I appreciate the effort that went into this t/s I'm a diehard Cowboys fan and therefore biased the list is solid but we are still Americas team niggas either love us or hate us I'm putting the ' Boys' at #2 behind the Steelers because they have the SuperBowl edge in victorys but we both have been 8 times

Right now they're a constant rotation of QB's, coaches, and bad draft picks. Then they had one of the best corners in the league, and they let his contract void so he could be gone. So when you're sayin what makes a team top 5, you can't JUST count the the good. You gotta look at the negative too.

The same can be said about the Skins too even tho we've made the playoffs twice in the 00's. Then take a look at the Eagles who hvnt won shit since the 60's how the hell are they so high with there NFC championship "appearances"?

I hear ya, and ur right. I think the Raiders should be ranked high like they are. I just think those are the reasons they aren't in the top 5

Oakland should be higher. Dallas and Chicago is where they should be. Green Bay number one. IDK but they should be in the top 5.
