Professionals can only help people that truly want to be helped.
However, you can not say that they do not help at all. If his friends were more persistent with making him go see a professional or calling the suicide hotline to get help for him; then he would still be here.
But, all I am stating that people can not downplay the mind when a person is deeply depressed.
Saying "all he needed was someone to tell him to man up" is stupid as fuck.
He needed someone to listen not bring him down even more.
