Tupac Biopic "All Eyez On Me"

Hail Mary was written, produced and recorded on a single day in August 1996. (Purportedly in 1 hour)

The House of Blues performance was on July 4th, 1996. It would have been impossible to perform a song that did not exist in any form.

Additionally that performance is widely accepted as the last he ever did, considering he went straight to work on his new album..

So no, Pac never performed Hail Mary and having him do so is lazy and an attempt to excite casual fans. Especially in SOC when it was 3 years before hand, just terrible..

I can't imagine how much of that budget was pocketed by crooked fucks.

This is EXACTLY what I was thinking!

Ain't no way a budget that big should lead to a lot of this half assed shit yall pointin' out.

only way I can imagine the budget being that large is if it has a ton of Pac songs throughout it that they had to pay big bucks for.

no name actors and a director known for music videos (nothing wrong with that, many directors start out with music videos but he's not going to be charging a few million) aren't going to drive the price that high

Ok so overall most would agree the movie could have been better. So lets move on to the next task at hand...the names of some of the bitches in the movie cause it was some bad bitches in the movie.

The one that set him up after sucking him off was a fuckin dime

Ha, in real life, Pac said she looked "dumpy" in the Vibe interview

What's funny the 2pac house of blues album came out in 2005 they could've atleast look at that and picked which songs he performed

This iPhone fiasco that everyone's talking bout, was it a cheesy attempt of a product-placement?....meaning do y'all think Apple slid them some bread to do that, and the director was greedy and let it slide? If so, he way wrong for that.

the weekend estimate on the box office is at $27 mill. not sure what the budget was, hopefully $35 mill at most.

not too bad when you consider All Eyez On Me is only in 2,400 while WW and Cars 3 are in 4,000

It was $45 million for the budget.

What's crazy is "SOC" had approximately 40% less of a budget (@ $28 mill) and was done a lot better (from what I've heard on here and from people I know, haven't peeped yet). Just goes to show direction is critical!

Don't forget about writing and cinematography as well. All Eyez wasn't good in those departments either. Even the editing was bad.

@5grand they released a live album from house of blues....its not part of the tracklist

Maybe he didn't perform Hail Mary @ The House Of Blues, but can you definitively say that 2Pac never, ever performed Hail Mary at a show?

No I can't say that for sure.....im just saying he didn't perform it that night...stuff like that from the movie doesn't bother me tho.....ppl r nit picking about the movie

These niggas had Marvin Sapp singing at the end? I still haven't seen it but it sound like the whole funk flex/wack shit was in preparation of this since most of the industry saw it already. They knew it had a lifetime touch to it so they had to at least prep the audience. Subconsciously the last relevant word you heard about Pac was what? Him shooting himself when he got robbed, and him not being a G. If that's his portrayal in the movie or not that's another story but it looks like they set you up for a worst case scenario to lower the standard of a product (the movie) that they already knew was weak.
