Niggas don't really want change b. It's too much of an inconvenience for them to boycott these institutions....smh.

Michael Smith and Jamelle Hill is the homies, so I'm curious to see Michael Smith response to her suspension. Sucks that she is about to get fired though, but I'm sure she knew what time it was when she released them tweets. I think it was calculated. If it wasn't, she would had released them at the time Trump made statements about Alt Right and shit.

I believe she has a plan and a reason for this and I'm excited for what follows, especially with Capernick breaking his silence and supporting her on Twitter. This shall be good B)

@silverfoxx She hasn't been suspended nor is she about to get fired.

Boycott only works if the black players who make up 80% of the league sit out or a significant part of the white population boycotts with us(HA!).

Besides even with Kaep going through what he going through, it's still people in the league playing right now who down for the cause and about action who could use the support. (Bennett brothers)

And for every cornball like Hue Jackson, there's a Marshawn Lynch.

say it louder fam

if you not watching football now, you were probably on the fence about watching anyway, and there is nothing wrong with that, just dont try to pass it off like the ONLY reason you not watching is b/c of Kaep....nah...keep it all the way funky, ya team you root for is shitty and you gon tune back in as soon as they start making deep playoff runs again

but the onus is on the players themselves to send a message to the NFL that they are behind Kaep. The league made $15B last year, and there are still non fully guaranteed contracts, and NO $100M fully guaranteed contracts when the NBA has had about 23 players get them over the span of the last 3 years.

The NFLPA should be boycotting. They are the ones taking all the risks and getting the short end of the deal.

The latest twist in the Jemele Hill saga is fascinating. Lindsay Gibbs reports for Think Progress:

ESPN originally tried to keep Hill off the air on Wednesday evening, but Smith refused to do the show without her, the sources said. Both sources also said that producers reached out to two other black ESPN hosts, Michael Eaves and Elle Duncan, to ask them to serve as fill-ins for the show — but Eaves and Duncan did not agree to take the place of Hill and Smith, either.

“We never asked any other anchors to do last night’s show. Period,” an ESPN spokesperson told Kevin Draper of the New York Times in response to this report.

This could be semantical, because if Eaves and Duncan made it clear they would not do it before they were ever formally asked, this would ensure that they wouldn’t be formally asked to do it.

Notice there is no denial on the part of the report that Smith refused to host the show without Hill.
