man this poll ain't right. i can't pick one. damn. they both classics in my eyes. was just listening to TRU ?s by c-murder yesterday. fuck it. ima roll with the hot boys on this one.

Gotta go with GW. Tru 2 Da Game was the shiznit, but had some songs I couldn't vibe with. C-Murder wasn't as good as he was on Life Or Death on this cd. Silkk was......Silkk.

I can play GW more front to back than Tru 2 Da Game. If Tru 2 Da Game was a single disc then it would probably get my vote.

I gave Guerilla Warfare the slight edge on the account that album still gets heavy rotation on my iPod.

At the time I preferred No Limit over Cash Money though.

Mystikal, Mac, Fiend, and Soulja Slim lyrically >>> I thought they were all around better emcees than anything Cash Money had to offer.

Love this hook (though its from that wack ass follow-up album)

TRU W DA GAME BRINGS BACK GOOD TIMES IN MY TEEN YEARS...

MY HOMEBOY HAD A WHIT EBOX CHEVY WITH TWO 15'S IN THE TRUNK... WE WOULD RIDE TO THE MALL AND JUST BLAST THAT SHYT!

Tru 2 Da Game simply because it was two discs of dope music as opposed to one. Tru 2 Da Game had some classics on it like "No Limit Soldiers", "I Always Feel Like", "Freak Hoes" (LOL @ Destiny's Child sampling this song twice), "Swamp N****", and "Heaven 4 A Gangsta".

Guerilla Warfare had some heat too though, namely "Help".

BG's Chopper City in the Ghetto vol2 got slept on unfairly because of GW by Hot Boys release. The BG LP had "Bling" on it. Which changed the world.

I liked both but had to go with Guerilla Warfare. Fresh laced them n*ggas with hot beats. One of the best produced albums that year IMO. Tru album was aiight but that label had already fallen off when Guerilla Warfare dropped. Cash Money took the baton.

Best track on Guerilla Warfare IMO...

Man tru to the game was killin shit, I loved that fuckin album, takes me back to my childhood everytime, when I was a kid I thought they were great rappers smmfh.
