Fuck Jeezy. This is the same disgraceful ass nigga that thought it was a good idea to celebrate the first black prez by adding lines about selling dies into the chorus of the song. Zimmerman could rap some of his lyrics and it would sound like he was describing what he did to Trayvon that night. (I know, I know "Feelings")

All I see is multimillionaire trying to promote himself and make money off the back of a dead teenager he didn't know.

If he cared so much he'd have donated to the legal fund so they could have got a better legal team but that might have actually been money he didn't make back.

This is hollow self serving bullshit to me. Actions speak louder than words and this is a guy whispering in his own ear about how he can cash in on this case rather than putting up cash for the case. This isn't pro-active, it's reactive and selfish shit. This is just a sequel to the President is Black and equally without any relevant content to boot. If a black guy got hit in traffic tomorrow a week later Jeezy would have a new single could "Speedway (Don't Play)" out within two weeks. He's leeching off the worst kind of publicity in the most blatant way. I am pretty sure none a penny of this will go towards appealing the verdict because Jeezy isn't stupid, he's about that money and anyway he can get it, even if it's profiting off the innocent dead.

@pissedoffnobody Only person who would have benefited from that was Zimmerman being that the prosecution isn't hired like defense lawyers are

It's a cool song but like someone else said it does sound kinda rushed... jeezy tryna get on some tupac shit? why don't you say what niggaz really think jeezy? like I said it's a cool song but he still being politically correct tho. "it's a cold world" you fuckin right nigga but what is niggaz suppose to do just lay down? speak on the real jeez, fuck that whole kangaroo court they all in on the fix it's fucked up how they can make an example out a nigga just off some humbug shit. but that's a whole other story, jeezy played it safe and made a song about a hot topic but he really aint tambout nothing.

Private investigators exist in Florida, don't they? That's how the West Memphis 3 got out, private investigators proved beyond reasonable doubt that the 3 kids couldn't have murdered those other little kids in the woods, it was the father of one of the murdered kids that all the evidence pointed at.

Also like I said, if he was going to do more than talk he'd drop a chunk of change in the Martin family's lap now to pursue a civil suit with appropriate qualified lawyers and private investigators to appeal this. If they can't put his in in prison they can at least make him pay for the rest of his life literally. As it is Jeezy's probably snorting coke of a stripper's titty in a Magic City VIP booth while Trayvon Martin's family suffer the injustice of a fucked up system. I was watching Colbert Report and a black woman whose husband was threatening to rape her is doing 20 fucking years for shooting into the air in Florida. THE FUCKING AIR. She didn't even fucking kill a pigeon. Dick Cheney shoots a motherfucker IN THE FACE and the guy who got shot goes on TV and APOLOGISES TO HIM FOR THE MISUNDERSTANDING.

The revolution will be televised once Fox, BET and MTV commission it at this fucking rate. Meanwhile motherfucker's in Brazil took the the streets because of a fucking raise in bus fare. Instead in Florida a bunch of hippies played folk songs outside the state capital building rather than kicking in the fuck in. Places in South America go crazy over this shit because they are a united people trying to move forward while America still can't get past racism, sexism and other bullshit because it's promoted on TV to the point you got Disney princesses trying to go street when they can't walk down one without six black bodyguards because apparently black = scary still to some folks even if you're probably on a six figure salary living in a gated community.

You got Sean Bell, Rodney King, now Trayvon Martin but all it amounts to is a few shout outs by "socially conscious" rappers and some short lived media attention before it we move on to obsessing about the next slut fucking a rock star and going nuts. 20 years later shit has barely changed. It's like Paul Mooney said, white folks wants to act like a nigga but nobody really wants to be a nigga. Meanwhile every talks about wanting change but nobody pushes hard for it anymore because they act like it's too much work and having the best rims and newest limited edition kicks matter more than knowing you ain't gonna get fucked by the system you pay into to support. I dunno but I'd move state than fund the system that frees my son's murderer. It's not much but it's something but the reality is they probably can't afford to not live in Hurricane Shithole, USA.

anyway, tl;dr version for titangraph haters,

Jeezy's a shameless self promoter and a shithead. I hope he get herpes from his next lap dance.

Could you highlight your thesis statement please. Thanx 8->

Raheem and S.P. did they thing. Jeezy's song was aight too. That shit was crazy at the end of the Raheem song, dude killed that boy because his music was too loud. Smh, pretty soon they gonna be asking to see our freedom papers.

Don't know if this is exactly a "tribute" but Immortal Technique had a few interesting things to say about Trayvon in his interview with Vlad Tv

With the George Zimmerman acquittal still fresh on people's minds and the tragic death of Ahlittia North, a 6-year old girl who was recently murdered New Orleans, Kidd Kidd created a heartfelt new song dedicated to Trayvon Martin and Ahlittia titled "Life Up."

The G-Unit emcee wonders if things will ever get better for young black youth.

"Walking with my hoodie on, know that's him again/Is this a blood bath that we swimming in?/Will I get away with murder like Zimmerman?" Kidd Kidd raps.
