I was raised to be tolerant, but that doesn't mean you have to be stupid and pretend to not see the facts when they're in your face! If black youths had been breaking into homes in the neighborhood, Zimmerman had every reason to be alerted when he saw not only a black youth, but a stranger, in the neighborhood! You really doubt it?? I'd be shocked if riots DON'T happen if Zimmerman gets acquitted. As far as why niggas was burning down local areas instead of outside white areas, understand white areas were targeted within the neighborhood so the rioters could make a quick get away. It's hard to riot in a far away place and run away safely......not defending rioting, but there's a method to madness.

I hear what you're saying, but 40 days is way too long to investigate a murder. I'm over it now, somewhat, I just want justice to be served. And if there is no conviction, I'll be very upset, but not as upset if there were no charges filed. Believe me when I say this, the prosecutor saved many lives and businesses Wednesday. Even Trayvon Martin's family attorneys warned of pandemonium if charges wouldn't be filed soon, but hey, that's the past.....I'm just glad Zimmerman is locked up safely away so he won't kill anymore kids armed with Skittles and ice tea.

INVESTIGATE or CHARGE or CONVICT? because you've got people saying that, because they thought him guilty and were enraged about the process, he should have been convicted and sentenced immediately. really, though, 40 days isn't too long to investigate a murder, in that what you want to happen is, if Zimmerman murdered Trayvon, the prosecution to bring the best possible case to the table and secure a conviction. it's too long if they're fucking around and not even looking into the case (which you could argue they were doing, just talking about the time issue here).

I'm over it now, somewhat, I just want justice to be served. And if there is no conviction, I'll be very upset, but not as upset if there were no charges filed.

i still suspect there will be an outburst if what you think the outcome should be doesn't happen, but hey, he's been charged and we'll see what happens.

side note: people saying "if you don't charge this guy, there will be (insert criminal act here)" are essentially arguing for extortion of the process, not actual justice

nah bruh, i live out here and seen it first hand. and it aint no 'white areas' within south central and watts except for USC campus.

they was burnin down liquor stores(which i dont care that much about) and grocery stores(which i do care about, else how we gon eat?), lil mom and pop stores and tire yards and shit.

bout the only thing they did right(i guess) was looting big brand electronic stores and shit. things that actually put dents in the proper pockets.

Zimmerman sees Trayvon and think he is suspicious. I will assume the best of Zimmerman and accept the story that several break-ins in recent months have been attributed to black youths. He follows Trayvon in a car. Talking with police the dispatcher states he does not need to follow but does not direct him not too. (This I think is a massive failure on the dispacther's fault.) Trayvon ducks down a path/yard/alley that Zimmerman can not follow and Zimmerman gets out of the car and follows on foot. Zimmerman at this point has not broken any laws.

late response so my bad if anyone commented on this already, but although the dispatcher didn't explicitly tell zimmerman not to follow the kid, somewhere in the call he told him the police were on their way. that's enough of a prohibiting statement in my eyes.

also, it's funny how the media were quick to jump up & show the new black panther response to this, but i saw no interviews of the representatives KKK get national media attention. i'm the last person to call for a conspiracy, but this shit needs to stop. every time some racial issue happens somebody okays giving these clown niggas a platform like they really have some type of pull in the black community & should be feared by anyone. CNN should be ashamed of themselves.
