The problem I have with this is that It's not like Trayvon was following Zimmerman down the street while Zimmerman was minding his business, on the phone with his girlfriend trying to get home in the rain. It was the other way around. You don't get to pursue someone in a stalker-like fashion, against the advice of authorities ... Get out of your car and initiate a confrontation like you're Billy Bad-ass... and then when the tables turn and your are getting your ass handed to you (assuming this is what happened) ... shoot the person and claim self-defense. Zimmerman went looking for a fight. He's a murderer.
The best way GZ could have "defended" himself if he really "felt in fear of his life" was to stay in his car in the first place like he was told.
