One day, Niners.. one day.. smh

One day? As in 1981-2002??? Damn, nigga, lol. They dominated the league for 20 damn years. Let them bastards get comfortable in the basement for a minute like everybody else. lol.

Nah, but I knew they would fall off when the Debartolos left. It's all about ownership/front office. Not the city, not the logo -- Just front office. The rest will fall into place.

I think the Falcons and Panthers are the only teams to go to the Super Bowl with a garbage front office if I recall correctly. (But even the Falcons had Dan Reeves as a GM in 1998.)

Bmore copped a 5 for coaching, I say fair enough. Melt downs on both sides of the ball late the last couple of seasons really are inexcusable for a team that should have jumped the final hurdle by now

Yea that front office "is something else".. tough getting use to taking L's..

Btw Defense should be apart of the criteria, I mean "It does win championships."

LOL @ the pack and saints being ahead of the Steelers and Pats.

Steelers are close to being in the superbowl almost every damn year. I think they got at least 2-3 appearances per decade

List is stupid IMO. They only look at QB, out of all the players on the team. They didn't count win-loss. The fuck are intangibles? The Jets seem to go into their playoff games with a "Me against the wold...this shit is personal" attitude, and they seem to have a loyal fan-base ...that should have their intangibles higher than a 6.

Also, why are the coaches ranked lower than the coaching staff on some of those teams? That means the head coach is the weak link on the Steeler, packers, and Saints coaching staff.

Why in the hell are the Aints that high on the list????

The ranking speaks for itself. QB(check), coachs (check), front office (check), Owner (that is hell of a stretch), Intangibles (didnt read the article so I dont know the reasoning). At worst they should be 5. Benson is a lucky MFer for hitting the jackpot with the GM and coaches he has. Other than the Mora years.............................well damn I guess Ditka was his only fuck up if you really think about it. I guess Benson is good. Well unless you see where he tried to take the team to his hometown (San Antonio).

Only two decades ago, 2 and 8 would have been in the 20s at best. But this isnt all time so I see what they are doing.

I would put Pittsburgh, and (as much as I hate them) New England, ahead of the Packers. I think the Packers are getting a little too much love being the last Super Bowl winner. And I think New Orleans is too high because of their Super Bowl win and this knee jerk desire to still feel sorry for New Orleans after Katrina.

*cough* Bullshit *cough*.

Benson is no different than the Falcon's Smith family. Him and the Smiths spent years just trying to "beat each other" and not really giving a fuck about anything else. Like the Smiths in 1998 with Dan Reeves - Benson and the Saints lucked up with Sean Payton and a couple of key veteran free agent pick ups. But other than that, Benson's track record is identical to the Falcons/Smith days, Neo-Browns, Bengals, Buccaneers, etc.

He even publicly admitted to trying to find investors in San Antonio, L.A., and Oklahoma City to sell the team to just a few years ago. Dude tried to use "Katrina" as an excuse, lol. Miami gets clothes-lined by a hurricane EVERY year, and you never hear about the Dolphins leaving town. foh.

Bottom line -- the day Sean Payton goes -- so goes the Saints. The other teams with high-front office rankings would be just fine without their current coach and they've proven it.

the top 5 is on point and expected. and most teams are only separated by no more than 2.5 pts so its stupid to get bent out of shape over who is ranked over who in the top 5.

and the top 5 is expected. except the saints. there owner is terrible and was hated for years and only gained a little respect after they won the super bowl.

i think the steelers should be 1. what is it, 3 head coaches in the last 50 years? thats unheard of. match that with their level of success and that alone should be enough. but like i said, its not like there is a great difference in points between those teams so they are basically interchangeable
