Yo I dont get people saying AZ though, isnt he always getting props??? (and rightly so)... Alot of rappers on here are rated highly, especially on this site... Although they maybe a little more 'underground'...

Masta Ace (in the game since the 80s, still killing it has classic albums, a great story teller but still hardly ever mentioned as a goat)

Mase (often seen as soft as he was marketed towards being 'ladiesman' on BadBoy, often joked and dissed alot because I guess for his 'preacher' saga, but really had baaaaars and originated a flow that has been copied by numerous rappers since and has two classic albums imo)

Pharoahe Monch (dude is a killer mc with complex and again an original style, classic album and other dope albums and even had some commercial success but still seems to go under the radar)

Sticky Finggaz (part of a classic rap group, alot of people see him as just shouting but really a great picture painter and story teller and has classic album that alot of people seem to of overlooked with 'The Autobiography of Kirk Jones')

MC Ren (similar to sticky, part of a classic group but in his case was over shadowed by the other members, when in fact he wrote alot of their rhymes and has a killer discography in his own right...

No one ever talks about him the way they should....hes better than 99% of the ppl named in this thread

I dunno man he was in the HRSMN with other lyrical greats, he seems to always been seen as the super lyrical one in DPG, but I think Daz is a beast too... You maybe right, the casual fan may not think of him in the same light as Bis or other lyrical dudes but I think Daz is more underrated in the hip hop world, I guess because he is world class producer too...
