That yayo album has like 4 bangers on it

I can't hate on it

Well i can hate it. 1/4 of a listenable album? Im not gonna go in too much because I Can say the same thing about Banks hunger for more. Atleast Game and Buck had tight first albums

Buffie the body in Yayo first video>> his whole hypeman, slash rap guy career

4 out of 17 is good?

Y'all niggas need to get your standards up.

76% of the album is wack and niggas support it?

Smh Jesus.

Do u know how many albums have only track 2 as the solo good song ?

I'm not cape'n for the album but I'm also not gonna act like its

a classic!

Never. I never gave his album a listen, but even if it was the boo boo beans everybody claimed, he went harder than anybody for that G-Unit shit. Yayo took L's as a man to maintain loyalty to the G-Unit when he could've rode that little Free Yayo wave into some side ventures.

50 ruined the Unit. He brought a transparency to the music industry that was a Pandora's Box when he started exposing formulas and bringing up sales. Barbershop convos about albums post-GRODT all started and ended with "But his sales look like? He wack." Then when the mindset stuck and 50/Unit albums sales weren't hot? "They wack. They ain't sell shit."

album wasnt bad it was alright, but Yayo before his album drop was a monster

Rule number one pick a target and study him for weeks

See where they rest at and lay with their peeps

Now you got the drop, know their daily routine

So the second rule please leave the crime scene please

Third rule pick a day, fourth rule pick a time

Fifth rule pick a fifth, sixth rule pick a nine

And the seventh rule make sure your sidearm sweet

So when the shootout you leave him six feet deep

Eighth meet in a fast car with disguise

Use a ski mask with shades on your eyes

Ninth rule don't say shit cause po-po listen

Fuck around you end up being stuck in the system

And the tenth rule don't put a tag on a broken heart

Just put a toe-tag on your mark

And rule number 11, you caught a body but you not a legend

You better watch where you heading -Yayo in Bad News

he has some really underrated songs in his career

Yeah

Tony yayo made himself into the Virgil of rap

Now that I think of it, g unit really all regressed due to being too much

50 was such a monster that he alienated himself from fans and other artists

Yayo played man servant so hard to the point where people didn't take him serious as a rapper

Banks concentrated on this rap shit so much he left his career in some chick car

Buck was such a hood nigga that he still a hood nigga

Game is Game

Nigga went on to spit more bars, drop more names and have the longest remix of a single ever while accurately sounding like everyone he comes in contact with

"Been going hand to hand since the real roxanne

If its beef we can settle this man to man"

That line will never allow me to say yayo is wack. His style and voice is just real unorthidox. But he got some tracks and his past mixtapes have him finding a bit of niche musically.

He was the sheek of gunit, not wack but never overly impressive and he use to push banks to spit that heat. In the streets Yayo was the og of the group but musically he played his lane and showed real loyalty.

Yayo was the best one in g-unit until I say around Straight Outta Cashville dropped. Nigga used to embarass banks n 50 on the mixtapes

Yayo was at no Point Ever better than banks or fif

So you like Yayo didnt gas them on Victory?

I meant Catch Me N The Hood not victory

No doubt. That's yayo's Goat verse he snapped on that old g unit freestyle over the you,me,him and her track too

But overall he wasn't consistent enough to be better than fif or had the bars to see banks

Niggas on here just hating

Someone tell me a group that was essentially a clique of a main star and the fifth nigga to release an album out that clique went platinum? Ok, I'll wait.

It can go diamond...it still singlehandedly destroyed G-Unit. Album wack as fuck.

i hear what you saying, but again, fifty did something that i dont tihnk anyone elsee has ever done in rap. he came out of queens after not being able to be signed. he came in the game with his niggas, banks and yayo (no need discuss the falling out with bang em smurf) then he took his boys and went on a ride to where they ended up a combined net worth of (depending on the reports) up to 300million. he went plat, banks went plat, yayo went plat, he even met up with two dudes once he got rich and made them plat too, game and buck. he sold clothes, water, books, headphones movies, went on oprah, had his niggas going world wide performing songs.. did all kinds of shit

i dont think anyone else really did that on his level, from a rapper to an executive when he had all odds against him. yet you just come on here and say "well he fucked up when..."

to me thats like saying "michael jordan fucked up when..."

mind you, i am not saying fifty cent is the best ever

but as a rapper, not executive, but a rapper, who came out with a clique that was his clique (not a group like wu tang clan) but a clique of his niggas, to make them all come out and shine, when has that ever been done before

nwa guys didnt all go plat

hell even wu tang didnt all go plat, and they were a legit group even

busta rhymes didnt have anyone on his clique go plat outside of himself

ti couldnt make five guys go plat

fat joe couldnt

nelly couldnt

lil wayne couldnt

snoop couldnt

cam'ron couldnt

kanye hasnt done it yet

gucci couldnt do it

young jeezy couldnt do it

ja rule couldnt do it

biggie didnt do it

50 cent is the only one to do it, so instead of being like this is the downfall, i think u should be looking at it like dman this nigga got his boy who dont even rap really, to go plat. that is crazy! you should be commending that fool. he did somethign no one else did, and u looking at it in a negative light

that is my only issue

but hey

do u. some see glass half full, u see glass half empty

u say this is where 50 fucked up

tell me anyone else who got to 50 level in a position to fuck up?

if i was the 5th dude in a rap group there is no other place i'd rather be than with 50 cent

cause if he made yayo go plat

hell he made game go plat and even have a career and that wasnt even his boy

50 cent dont get the credit he deserve, not as a rapper but as a businessman. yet ppl like u come here and say "ahh man here where he fucked up"

glass half empty ass nigga

Because 5-0 also made one of the most garbage ass music of all of music history, let's face it, immortal is right, going platinum has nothing to do with luck, it means that millions of people are stupid as fuck.

Before me n my patnas could put faces to names (meaning we didnt know yayo was the dark one, and assumed lloyd banks was actually named yayo cuz he was light skinned and I was the only dark skinned nigga on the team. So they brainwashed me into thinking the light skinned nigga had the better name and better verses). Banks had the better punchlines but yayo was just lyrical n witty as fuck. Yayo killed them on that fat girl song.

Yayo real as fuck. nicer than 90% of rappers out today.

I bet he is nice. 50 makes him get the guests cocktail hors d'oeuvres, coffee, champagne, cheese and crackers whatever they want. He better be nice or he going back to the hood.
