yo cbb, im north of 34 south of 39, the funny shit is, my mother copped me some vans when i was going into 9th grade. she wanted me to have as she put it a cool comfortable casual shoe, and they were cheap..nigguhs gave me a hard time, i didnt have a problem with them..its funny how times change. as far as the fasion, being a 'tall skinny big headed' cat all my life, i looked like a fucking fool in 36 jeans and xxl shirts...plus im at the age now (pta meetings, people under me at my job) that i gotta wear my clothes fitting, dont get me wrong, nothing tight...but aint shit droopy no more...

I like the ability to you tube music and other shit to remember what the past was truly like (or to just hear/see what you want at will) I like the business mindedness of today's artists more than the "get signed" artist mentality I grew up with. I like the technology..I wish they had serato when i was a DJ, i wouldnt have had to carry 20 crates of records. We wore tight clothes in the 80's but at least in Philly we started wearing baggy shit from 88 on and I never wanted to go back, my nuts felt free lol. But to each his own. This generation got a lot to offer, they perspective is less racial and more inclusive even though it goes too far sometimes for my taste.

i had a big discussion with my coworker the other day and he was saying he would prefer rap city to youtube..personally, i prefer youtube..true u have to search shit out, but the variety and selection cant be compared with as far as discovering new artist..

Cosign everybody who mentioned rappers having more financial control over their careers.

Also I wanna add the beginning of the end of the gangsta rapper minstrel show.
