Hope it works out. Would be cool to see other artists do this. They could have the money/backing that a big label would normally provide, but still maintaining their creative freedoms. Fans get rewards plus new music for backing and it gets people to support music again with their dollars...however little or much they can.
A lot of youngsters start out indie these days, which is cool...IF you happen to blow. But a lot of artists who were once backed by big labels don't know where to begin with that and don't understand that hustle. This is a nice alternative. Hopefully we see other artists from the past who aren't able to get support from big labels start making comebacks.
