Doesn't seem like she's gonna get it. This song could do something moderate but its wack to me. "Superlove" not being a hit makes me think its just not happening for her, at least on the Pop scene. She needs to just focus on making the music she wants to make instead of chasing hits.

I just assumed that it was the label that was pushing for her to have a hit. I don't think it will happen for her as well, and it doesn't need to as well.

I just assumed that it was the label that was pushing for her to have a hit. I don't think it will happen for her as well, and it doesn't need to as well.

I think it is too. There's a major difference between her singles and her independent mixtape work.

The problem seems to be that she wants to expand her sound while the label wants her to cross over to pop completely. Her being an upstart makes it harder for her to put her foot down.

Is she allowed to work with who she wants to? I'm pretty naive but are label woes issues of being in "exclusive" deals or situations where you're not allowed to work with people unless the label says so?

She need to leave RCA and go indie. it ain't like she super poppin with a label behind her so she has nothing to lose if she does whatever she wants musically.
