in my room

if the threadstarter requests it... I usually delete it

if it has personal info in it .... I ususally delete it if the person who's info is being posted asks

if they are harassing a poster ... I'll delete it or at least lock it ... even if no one asks

usually..i do too....

but this occassion just seems like one where i feel like he's only on that cuz he caught feelings on an argument he's not winning, and being laughed at as a result... had he gotten more support on his ideas...or had it been someone elses thread....it would not have bene an issue at all....

Aquafinafloe asks me to delete her backfired Donkey threads. I don't do it.

Especially in Donkey, if they can't handle it they shouldn't make the thread.

t/s should be able to request delete whenever really

any thread can turn into a roast. even if they mess up spelling in the title LOL

its a matter of having set rules tho

technically a thread back fire is a derailment. so by not deleting it or locking etc by request ur handling the situation in a biased way. you cant say "this thread is wack and it got derailed so im deleting/locking" then say to another "well this is an entertaining derailment so they shoulda never made the thread" .. the whole thing is contradictory. its better to have a set "protocol" then to go by personal opinion especially if youre never open to suggestions

and shootem .... ur voice doesnt count on this topic because u literally have no rhyme or reason for ur modding wayz LOL

I agree with this

Each room has it's own set of rules

but those rules are based on the theme of room. there still has to be more clarity as far as how we should handle shit thru out the whole board

this is why behavior that is typical in one room spills over into other rooms

at the end of the day this is really no discussion at all because when it actually begins to be discussed most of yall will take on the i dont care it dont matter attitude

so what are we really talking about here?? the board or just this one situation??
