Been reading shit about this lately, in regards to the NY subway.

My view is fuck that shit. Unless you're giving MFs their money back or a discount on giving up their seat to someone else then fuck what they talmbout.

It's pretty much a bunch of people trying to shame other people into giving up their seat instead of dealing with the problem of the trains being too crowded, much like restaurants trying to shame customers into tipping because they don't pay their staff enough.

Another thing that's not addressed is the hypocrisy and entitlement of it all.

I used to give up my seat all the time until I noticed how ungrateful and entitled people wore about the shit. Got to a point where people wouldn't even thank you for the shit, or would look at you dirty. Ain't nobody EVER give me their seat when I was holding a kid, or had bags, or any type of shit - and I never seen anybody do it for any other man either.

Read some of the comments about that shit on facebook and the shit makes you wonder why you even bothered in the first place. People need to understand that some shit is done out of kindness, not something you take for granted and talk shit when you don't get it.
