i was telling sumbody this the other day hall and oates got like a ten song list of straight classics....of course cause their white your average black person wont agree....but real niggas notice good music

Another reason growing up in the '80s was somethng special. Radio hadn't drawn a "race line" with their playlist. As a kid you could listen and appreciate all kinds of music.

there was still a line...there was pop, which was mostly white artists, with the exceptiion of MJ...Janet and a few others...then there was rnb, with midnight starr, cameo, etc...

I'm not saying that were not different genres of music. In the 80's you really didn't have radio stations that played primary r&b or pop but a mixture of everything at least in the NY area.

ok i gotcha...well im from louisiana...and there were radio stations that specialized down here...

i was shocked they were white when i bought they song sara smile off itunes lol i swore it was some other old school dude

this other shit may have to go on my old school playlist too
