People actually think this. And it seems logical to a point. Those same people kinda forget that the same ones that brought us over here are in large part responsible for how fucked up Africa is. So, it's silly to be thankful that they enslaved us. Had they not done that, yes we would be in Africa still, but had they not colonized and screwed over Africa, it would likely be a much better place. That said, all of Africa isn't the hell hole that some of these people seem to think it is. I think people forget it's a freaking continent, not a little city.
