Sell drugs and pimp hoes. Those are the only jobs paying good money these days. Sorry to say that but it's true. Welcome to the fall of Rome. America's dying, and there's no turning back.

Good luck, we all need it. I graduated from college hoping to be a paralegal last year, and I'm getting by now doing security and research work. America is fucked buddy....get used to it. And don't have kids.....follow my advice and you'll manage to be ok.

Yo real talk. Save a lot of money then retire by 40 and move to some poor country like Thailand or something. The money goes a long way and you'll get girls for dirt cheap. Your monthly pension would be more than enough.

Live somewhere where you can live like a king.

Truth.

It's not like in our parent's day where there were many jobs and job security. Now you can be layed off or have your job outsourced at any time. And prices of everything is going up but salaries aren't. You just can't plan anything long term anymore and it sucks.

I"m not sure if I want to raise kids in this environment, let alone being able to afford them.

No one should go to school unless they plan to be a doctor or nurse. Those are the only jobs that will be available coming out of school. Everything else has grads backlined from up to 10 years back.

i see where you're coming from. and yes, money doesnt necessarily equal happiness. but poverty certainly doesnt equal happiness either

seems like T/S wants more money and a true purpose to his life. if he can find a situation that provides both, he'll feel better.

co-sign this righ'chere.................

One thing I'd say, if u just sit around thinking about how life sucks and how ur a loser, it will become a self fulfilling prophesy. My advice in all seriousness is start setting attainable short term objectives for yourself, and have those objectives be part of a larger goal. When I say "attainable" that means don't shoot for something totally impossible, don't be like "I'mma be the first person to walk on mars" na have it be something realistic: I'mma save X amount of money in the next few months and put that toward Y (maybe Y is a business idea, for example).

OP probably has more things going on negative in his life than his job.

You can have a shitty job and still have a fun life OUTSIDE of work. Lack of friends? Lack of female attention? No hobbies? You need some of those things to keep the work worthwhile, even if temporarily.

Main key if you don't like your current position is make sure you can live under your means significantly so you can save enough money to change your position in Step 2.

I fully believe that changing physical location is one of the best things you can do to change your life. Sometimes doing the same job in a different location can be all the difference, at least short term.
