As much as i like Biggie with story telling and i would put him in my top 5 I really feel like Ice Cube got alotta Goat Stories from it was a good day to Ghetto bird, to ghetto Vet.

I honestly don't see how anyone but Ghost can be considered the best storyteller ever. He just done it to a degree that no one else has. People like Nas, Cube, and Face might be around his level technically, but they just aren't as prolific IMO. 12 Ways to Die should have sealed his spot at the top. A lot of rappers struggle to keep a coherent story over one song. He did it over a whole album.

he's also the only one who can make a story either funny, or emotional, or add a twist. He does it all seamlessly. And he's been consistently doing it. Album after album. Song after song. No one since Slick Rick has put out as much stories on songs and verses as consistently.

You can point to other storytelling songs that are arguably better, but who has done it and been entertaining in as many ways doing it as Ghost?
