I don't think he should be given the death penalty. He should be examined and rehabilitated; after all, he's still a child. His brain hasn't had the time to fully develop yet. Add on to that, he was "raised" by a 12 year old mother and everything else in that fucked up story didn't help his situation, especially his step dad's involvement if that were true. Everything should be taken into consideration. A child's life is too much to be thrown away like that, especially when the child is not at fault for the evironment that shaped him/her
