Dishonered borrowed heavy from theif and bioshock. Theif was out years ago on pc

The art style reminds me of Bioshock. Not a big fan of it.

There is a reason why I said that Dishonored is the gold standard for first person stealth games.

I have Thief and played Dishonored (both on ps3). They're not the same kind of game, imo. They both involve sneaking but thief isn't as combat based. I'm a few levels in and I haven't used more than two arrows.Its graphics aren't that cartoony like dishonored. (Not a diss - I loved that game.) Thief also is more reality based in that you can't do shit a normal human can't do.

Long story short, Dishonored is a better game. I'd give it a 9 and Thief gets a 7. It's new but I can see it getting boring. Also, the sound cuts in and out throughout the game. The facial graphics struggles at times. It does a pixelated kind of thing. Maybe I'm being nice by giving it a 7.

So basically this Thief reboot is a mere shadow of its predeccesors? Im reading all kinds of shit that wasnt present in Deadly shadows.

Should be able to get this game for pretty cheap now. Gamestop is only giving $22 in trade for it. I thought that was a ripoff until I checked ebay where it's selling for less than that. Ijs
