Seems kinda pointless to me. Why remake something that was already great? Why not just continue where the other one left off. I mean I don't even see anything that would qualify as an improvement save the introduction of Skull Knight.

i think the smoother animation and what not will bring in a lot more fans, and maybe the demand would be high enough for them to do so...
