To say Meek's diss was better than Back to Back and won him the beef, then by the very same logic Super Ugly was the winning TKO in the Jay-Z/Nas beef. After all, Ether was essentially calling Jigga a dickrider while Super Ugly was stating facts about Jigga fucking Carmen - Nas had nothing personally harder hitting than that.

But we all know what the consensus on that beef is.

too keep it real all the songs about this beef is ass straight up.

that baaaack to back shit is weak, he had a couple nice jabs but it was weak tho

meek just exposed himself as being remedial all the way around, the movie soundbites wasn't enough.

all that shit is boo boo

only reason it's getting so much attention is because niggaz aint goin at each other no more, the competitive spirit is almost gone in hip hop so this is a change of pace but it's wack in the grand scheme.

Meek's fatal mistake was thinking, in a world where Ross can thrive and other falseness can survive, folks still wanted authenticity and that people would give a single solitary eff about some reference tracks and their favorite not writing they own verses as long as the music is good. Akademiks was right. Look around at the landscape of hip-hop right now.

I agree, but I think he should have been straight forward with Drake from the beginning. Ask Drake straight up did he write the song or not; and if that's the case just not fuck with him anymore. Meek loves attention so much he wanted to air Drake out with Twitter. All this shit is embarrassing. Even with Flex's wack ass piggy backing, the QM situation, and the diss Meek looks like the fool.

word. folks still want authenticity too. ross gets by cuz the music is good and the story may not be his but it still seems somewhat relatable. hell thats why drake and meek have they fans, they stories in they music authentic. but whn it come to the writing, meek coulda went about this a LOT better. if he knew months b4 the album he could have deleted it or got another feature. instead he just blabbed on twitter. made himself look bad from the jump

6 Reference Tracks While claiming you the best of a generation = Loss

The funniest part of this Beef is seeing all the mental gymnastics Drake fans are taking to act like the Reference Tracks aren't one of the Biggest L's for a mainstream rapper in years. Rappers we know that have Ghostwriters like Puffy, Dr. Dre etc have never had this many references released.

He probably got gassed up by his record sales, thinking he was big enough to take Drake down b/c he has fans.

got this from another site. this is how everything started and whats going on now

This is the real tea that i found out from someone close to dj dramas girl. Meek found out from dj drama that drake had used a reference track from quinton for RICO. Meek confronted drake about it and they had a lil argument and drake felt like he was disrespected for the way meek came at him since he was doing a favor for meek. This happened the same week of meeks homecoming concert. Drake didnt show up because he was pissed at the way meek came at him. Meek was upset because drake was supposed to be the big celeb for his event. The track was already recorded and done when meek found out. Meek decided to still put the track on his cd. Months later meeks album comes out and drake doesnt tweet about it. Meek was upset because he felt like despite them having anargument, drake would still support since hes on the album. Meek started feeling himself when he saw how taylor went at nicki and how much love nicki was getting even though taylor is the bigger star. Meek felt like ill just expose drake and the public will side with me because they will see that drake is a fraud just like they sided with nicki over taylor. Word gets around to all the djs like charlemagne and flex that drama has a ref track and more ref tracks. Flex begs drama for the 10 bands track and drops it. By jow most djs already know that there are more ref tracks that drama has. None of them care because they dont want to ruin their relationship that drake has with their station. Flex decides to put it out there when he found out about the other ref tracks acting like he had it but drama wouldnt give it up. Meek didnt think drake would respond to him and was shocked when charged up came out. Meek did his diss record and told flex he would give it to him but was still trying to get the other ref tracks from drama to give to flex but drama wouldnt give it so flex and meek last minute decided not to premiere the diss track because they wanted to drop everything at the same time and ether drake. The next day drake releases his second track and shocks flex and meek because they werent expecting it. Meek already hAs his diss wanna know recorded but pretends like he still has to record it because he wAs still trying to get the ref tracks. Dj drama gives the track to meek who then tells flex that they are ready. Dj drama did not get paid for it. He wAs upset like op stated because he gave meek the ref tracks as a favor and meek went and called TI name in his track about the pee accident. TI got upset at drama and drama is pissed like op stated because he involved TI. Everything has backfired on all of them. Meek already knew about the p!ss incident but drama didnt think he would say it in his song and put TI name.

Another tea. The beggining of wanna know when meek talks about a !!!!! who went to jail for not snitching but later snitches. He was talking about AR-AB. When drake ref his name in back to back. Meek found out that AR-AB will be signing to ovo and has told his secrets to drake....meek is scared because drake has alot of info about him. This is the reason y drama gave the ref tracks to meek. They knew drake has ammo on meek and could air it out so as a friend drama gave the tracks thinking it would stop drake and it all backfired.

Buddens flat out stated that Drake hadn't played his "Joker" yet. I think most people took that to mean some significant info that he also knows about.

On the real tho i read this article and I wonder if yall buy into this..

It basically said America don't want to see an aggressive dark skinned hood dude beat an easy going light skinned guy from the "burbs". Somehow complexion and image is playing a role in this.. Besides the obvious "of course", how you all seriously feel about this?

Do you all think especially from random white people is there a little bit of subconscious "complexion" play going on?

Then explain 50 demolishing Ja Rule's career? Hip-hop is built on a certain type of aggression and fans appreciate that no matter who it's coming from at the end of the day. That's why you got some people who will look past how Meek did what he did and just enjoy the fact that he did it. Also why you got some people who are looking past the ghostwriter aspect and appreciate the fact Drake was aggressive enough to throw the first shots no wax. Shit it's why you had so many people going nuts when Gucci went on his lean induced twitter rant lol. It's not about Drake being lighter it's about the fact that the rapper who was supposed to be the most "aggressive" in Meek pretty much showing himself to be the opposite of that and ironically what most people accuse Drake of being which is emotional as fuck. Those corporations aren't actually sitting in board rooms paying attention to this shit to retweet it. It's people who are young controlling those twitter and facebook feeds who are tweeting it about from their personal accounts too not old corporate white people.

Cooperations have advertisements pop on your fb feed because they can monitor what you search

You think they cant catch hold of whats dangering there investment lby seeing whats trending on the net

Didn't instagram cut hundreds of thousands of fake followers from niggas ig accounts,

Ima try and break this down as simple as i can

Yall remember when ps3 network went down right? It was put down due to a ddos attack

Thats when a hacker takes control over a hundreds of people computers on the low with malware or viruses except you dont know it. you just think your computer is fucking up when really he using your shit to fuck with someone else

When you install that pirated copy of windows

You probably been compromised

When click on the wrong porn link you been compromised

Etc

Those young people aint necessarily real

Shit is real and people don't understand from a tech perspective what can be done

So now the hired people running social media accounts, and I know a few who run them for companies we see on tv daily, aren't real people they're secret hacker programs? Lmao ok

"Rumor has it there's something that only i know"

from charged up. i dont usually believe bullshit gossip but that doesnt seem entirely unrealistic.

Interesting.

I had to check QM's music out. Pretty dope.

Yeah he's nice. I've been listening to his tunes. If you check some of his tracks from 2012, you can tell Drake quite clearly jacked his "slow flow" style start-stop shit to adapt to more trap influenced production trends. Smh @ Drake, but this is all a good look for QM. Hope dude capitalizes on this shit and drops a new EP.
