Wow!! Hip hop fans ain't shit. As a fan of hip hop this shit is disturbing to see. That dreams and nightmares record is harder than any drake record ever. And the fans know it. But to blatantly side with a nigga cause everyone else is, that's some real follower shit. Disgusting.

Even when fifty and ja was beefing niggas still danced to rule records in the club.

I truly hate this new generation. You niggas just latch on to anything/anyone that's trendy. No sense of leadership in yourselves.

I never heard a man who has the utmost confidence in himself say some shit like playing drake music helped me get pussy. That's shit losers say, grown men with self esteem issues. This new generation ain't got no identity.

Just a bunch mindless drones.

You can't really blame them all of the way tho. This shit is Mathematics

I don't get why people think drake is good. He is the most successful average rapper I have ever seen in my life. I have never once heard even a line of drake's and been like damn that was dope. This pussy ass sucka motherfucker is this Generations Ja Rule. Just waiting on a real dude to come and shit all over him. No Meek's shit wasn't very good but either was back to back that shit was soft as a limp dick.

You can't deny that Drake has put out good music and made rappers step their game up. But come to find out later on that it wasn't all him as he wanted us to believe knocks him down a few pegs.

This is Rap, not Country Music.

And the fact that he got Bitch'd like that is even more disturbing

That is exactly what i am saying. I have never heard a dope drake song. There is not a single drake song on any playlist I own that even goes for features. Dude is average at best. If he came out 10-20 years ago he would be a no body dude is ass.

It's like seeing niggas getting mad because the high school nerd came back to the reunion & pulled all of the bxtchess

Nah. I see why you said that but Nah

Shit could've gone either way foreal foreal but the machine is carrying Drake, not Drake

This is why being a rap fan is corny as fuck now: the supposed poster child of the "Super Friends" Rap Era goes in on a dude from Philly who's all on Twitter raging left and right, but it's "Well, he used a ghostwriter."

And?

You know how much money there is to be made on publishing and songwriting? Maybe he did the nigga a favor and let him pen a Drake track. Be real: what's more believable: dude's been penning bangers since his mixtape days, blows up, and clearly tries to spread his brand by appearing on hooks and features while giving lesser knowns a chance to shine throws a writer a bone and lets the writer write him a verse or two or he's been secretly relying on ghostwriters from jump... when he was too broke to afford them...?

Regardless how the purists feel, Drake prints money on tracks whether it's a verse or a hook. That said, behind the scenes and where people know who the ghostwriters are, Drake just gave this dumb-ass an "OMG he writes for the most popular rapper since Em/Wayne" license to build a career behind the scenes. Buuuuuut he elects to side with Meek "I Had a Hot Song like 3 Years Ago" Mill instead of the Money Press to chase fame.

And "rap fans" 140 pages deep at AHH trying not to give credit because the knockout artist is half white. Salute to my black folks though. We somehow keep thriving despite a good chunk of us believing in dumb-ass conspiracy theories and over complicating simple shit.

Man stfu

It's not even a matter of being a "purist". It's literally a matter of who got the best of who and who was the most vicious & sincere

You can't look me in the eye, or anybody, and say Drake won that off of the strength of his Raps.

Fuck outta here my nigga

This is the problem with rap today fuck the money. Rap and Hip Hop isn't about the money and cars and buying out the bar. It about your life growing up and telling a story about how you came up and where you came from and the struggles you had to endure and survive to get to where you are today. The genre has been ruined.
