WWE is stating that Kofi Kingston will be out of action for several weeks as a result of the attack by The Revival during the debut of the former WWE NXT Tag Team champions on Raw last week.

In an article on their website, WWE quoted Dr. Chris Amann as stating that after the angle, "an MRI revealed that the attack had caused fragments of bone to break off the ankle bone (talus), requiring arthroscopic surgery to remove the bone chips from the damaged joint.”
