It's been a good year for the mid card titles

With the exception of Ryback getting the belt he did absolutely nothing with it when he had it. Yeah he was out due to infection but he did nothing good of helping build the IC Title when he returned. DB never really got a chance to make a run with it.

Us belt needsa new look

The U.S./IC Titles need to be unified by SummerSlam if not Wrestlemania. John Cena winning the U.S. Title & having open challenges every week and "trying" to build up mid-carder is dope. Cena & Rusev (before he started floundering booking wise) making it credible >>>> Del Rio's run as champ.

I think if Daniel Bryan didn't get hurt last year I creative would have build towards a Cena(U.S.) vs Bryan(IC) title unification match for SummerSlam.

Dude its already nothing for midcarders to do and you want to get rid of another title?!

They need to bring back a couple of titles to give midcarders something to fight for.

Cruiserweight title would be great for guys like Neville, Kalisto, Bo Dallas, Heath Slater and Tyler Breeze.

TV title would be great for guys like Damien Sandow, Curtis Axel, Adam Rose, R-Truth and Zack Ryder.

Them Titles would get tarnished as fuck, just leave the ic an the US, have the ic the highlight of smackdown like they planned with DB. I wouldn't have been shocked at a build towards a showdown with him and cena tho

They need to separate the wwe championship and world heavyweight championship again and leave them exclusive to smackdown and raw. It was much better as a product when both shows had their own exclusive superstars and storylines.

I disagree.

Considering the WWE was at it's best when we had the:

World Heavyweight Championship

Intercontinental Championship

Tag Team Championship

European Championship

Woman's Championship

Light Heavyweight Championship

Hardcore Championship

It's one of a myriad of reasons why watching the shows were more entertaining all the way through back in the day. Every match meant something. If a feud is two sided that's 14 acts engaged in a program for the belt, about 14+ more in a program for the number one contender spot, and a few grudge matches sprinkled in between. Just because you had all those titles didn't mean they had to appear on every show. European belt wasn't on every show. Light Heavyweight & Hardcore didn't make every show. But it allowed you to know that opportunity was just around the corner no matter who was performing in the ring. Be it a seasoned vet or a first time performer.

Also don't confuse that for me saying we need that many again. I'm just saying getting rid of one might be the worst thing you could do. If anything that Light Heavyweight may need to come back because Stardust (in this current character), Bo Dallas, Curtis Axel, R-Truth, Sandow and the like will never be taken seriously at the upper levels again without some serious building in the lower cards first. And with the way shit is currently it's near impossible for multiples of them to get over as being legitimate without something seriously worth fighting for in the early cards.

Just book the belts better. They have done that this year. Most of the champions, ironically with the exception of Seth Rollins, was booked strong and looked good.

Especially the US Title with Cena and Rusev. I'm waffling on Cena because his only US Title feud was with Rusev, who lets face it, revived that belt. Then Cena took it to the next level.

Ryback and Owens weren't really given anyone to work with before losing the IC title but they were decent champions too. Ambrose already has a better run than either of them. If Neville gets involved then it continues to be a solid division.
