It would be bold of me not to hie Itami some credit. I watched NXT this week and while I knew who would win the matches were dope but more importantly WWE pretty much invested that show in Itami as a person, I actually like dude now. I really hope he makes it.

Itami

Balor

Owens

All need to come in as Triple H's new Authority faction. It'd be a perfect way to introduce them into the main roster.

Zayn needs to make that move to RAW. Have Owens end Zayn in NXT.

He will be huge.

HHH was so boring as the babyface against heel Rock. DX made him look good.

i never woulda thought that guy would have been 13 time champ

Y'all forget triple h was over as hell back in 2002.

yea, but that was like 4 years after he was babyface against heel rock

hhh whole physique transformed and everything, prolly the best period of his career was 99 to 01-02

I watched that main event on Raw back in 2002 through the network with him, Jericho, and Steph. I ain't never heard Triple H get that much cheers in years lol.

You can't say he used his power to be selfish. Raw was weak during that time, all the greats were on Smackdown. He had to carry Raw as champ, but at the same time he was still putting over guys like Batista and Orton.

he returned 8 months after a terrible knee injury, wins the rumble and won the championship. they did their damnest to put hhh on a rock/Austin level.....only to have him drop the title a month later to hogan

triple h was the main reason why raw was weak

he was handed the title out of nowhere

he wouldn't drop the title RVD at the height of his popularity

he wouldn't drop it to Kane at the height of his popularity

he dropped it to hbk only to win it back 4 weeks later

boring feud with Steiner, didn't drop the belt to him

didn't drop the belt to booker t (bullshit)

feuded with Nash, wouldn't drop the belt to him (thankfully)

goldberg was over a.f. at summerslam 03 in that chamber match. dismantled everybody. and triple h beats him with his only offensive move of the match (sledgehammer shot). he dropped the belt a month later to him but ss was goldbergs moment and they dropped the ball

its called the reign of terror for a reason. most of his feuds weren't that interesting, his matches were kinda boring, he wasn't in the best in ring shape, he was injured, yet he was featured as the top guy. blame it on him or the booking but regardless it was a weak time period for raw

RAW was still watachable with Evolution tho as a stable. SO Trips gets a pass for that. It was once they started dedicating storylines to the Spirit Squad, HBK being too old to do kip ups due to his back, and Trips burying Thugnomics to make Cena who he is today is when RAW starter to really go down, circa 2006.
