Juelz was aight back then. Dipset beats were better than the lyrics they spit. They had a bunch of soul sample producers which I am drawing a blank on but they mainly used sped up samples that can only be categorized as Just Blaze influenced or Kanye. I agree they was trying to break out of the general NYC region they were trying to flip styles to rap on southern type songs.

yea 02/03 was when the dips were at their best flippin those soul samples..i think it was the heatmakers who produced those beats and they fell off after that..as far as juelz go i never really was a big fan of his stuff he had some coo shit but he was too random

I think New York tried to destroy dipset because they was fucking with all the regions tough and Dipset laid the foundation

for people like Asap Rocky and Smoke Dza , you can even say Nicki Minaj to a degree.

Dipset tore themselves apart. To be honest Dipset was the last time i remember NY supported a Movement in unity. What happen was they thought they didnt need Cam and when Cam laid low they were lost in the sauce. Only one who furthered his career was Jimmy and that had alot to do with Max B song writing and him paying attention to the business side of things....

Juelz might be one of the laziest rappers of all time....

this nigga was always garbage...

but them Dipset niggas had monster production...

Can't quote this enough. I never understood why dudes kept saying "Juelz the nicest out." Him and Cam's stupid ass rewind bars were the worst thing in rap for a few years there.

I tell her hop on the dick like corn on the cob because she hopped on the dick like corn on the cob the corn on the cob came off of the cob.
