Work in collections. Would be the greatest job of all time if we could talk to customers how we want to. They call u a nigga, u gotta be nice, they scream at u, gotta be nice, call u a bitch, still gotta be nice. Not to mention we got Acer monitors with hp computers and keyboards, the fuck? They freeze up on a regular basis. Customers call in regularly saying dumb shit like "why is there a cancellation fee on my bill ? I never wanted to cancel, you're the ones who cancelled it" yeah because last bill u paid was in may, u broke bitch. My real response would be "sorry u weren't aware of our policies sir but the fee is automatically applied after 2 outstanding bills" or something to that affect. There's people that's been there 10 years, i don't see how.

My job is straight & my supervisor is cool af but sometimes my co worker be thinking he the supervisor (I guess because his nephew is the supervisor). That fool be like "T, do this.....T, do that......T, Cone here.......T, you can go to lunch". I be looking at this fool like "since when tf you get a promotion & became the supervisor?

My supervisor is more laid back & not pushy but his uncle sometimes be trying to fill that supervisor role.

I hate when the coworker try to be your supervisor & that job seniority don't mean shit to me

Love my night job. I am Trainer/Supervisor at a call center. The pay is okay, but I get to sit on my ass, post on the IC, liisten to sports, and there's nothing but women around, mostly hoes. People call in talking sideways are tolerated, but if it gets to a certain point, I mention in a sly way that I have all of your info at my disposal, "Mr. Miller are you still at 111 MLK Ave, Albany,Ga 31701. Phone number 404 555 5555 And are you still employed by Piggly Wiggly?, Ok just checking, and you were saying?"and those calls usually turn good after that.

- Out of a 12 hour shift I really only work 4 hours.

- I get every other weekend off.

- I only work 2 days a week every other week.

- 10% shift differential for night shift (paid more than day shift to do less work).

- 20% shift differential for weekends that I work.

- Health insurance premium paid by the state.

- Offer scholarships for school.

- Plenty of downtime so I actually study/do homework at night when I want to stay awake.

- Lots of sick/vacation time.

Got promoted to supervisor in March. This shit ain't for me. My area manager is concerned about himself instead of the team. I have to travel because I have 7 branches spread out over Texas so I am away from my fam (I was told when promoted I wouldn't have to travel often and I travel all the time) I'm tired of having to babysit these piece of shit lazy ass employees and I hate when those same lazy asses expect me to bend over backwards to make sure their happy. The salary is very nice and my company pays for everything while I am on the road but listening to these fuckin idiots complain everyday when all they do is sit there and hand people money is driving me insane. BUT I am chillin at work right now on the IC.
