I hate this new concept of mid season finales. Just show the whole damn season.

Netflix can drop a season in a day, but AMC can't show a series over a few months with no interruptions? Geez.

I peeped this shit two years ago when it first started to actually catch on. Now pretty much everybody's doing it. They doing the shit with cartoons as well. The crazy part about it is that the "mid season finale" is actually the real season finale. That's why it be better than the "season finale". Like you said, back some years ago they used to do like 16 - 20 episodes a season, take a few months off, and come back. Then they trimmed shit down to like 14 - 16 episodes a season. Now they break that shit up(7/8 a few months, the rest 7-8 later). The "mid season finale" has turned into an actual season finale/finished arc. The actual "finale" has turned into the start of the new season/arc.
