That lady had just turned into a walker and wasn't rotting for any amount of time but her head still splattered when she got stomped. thats just shitty writing.

That's more in lines of production than writing also no one likes a over analytical nitpick. For someone that thinks the show is trash you sure are observant.

You're the most observant person of all my observations so whats that make you?

Shit that was a boring episode tho.

Am I the only one that thinks Tyrese is a mockery? I know they change all the characters from the comic a little and that's cool. But this isn't Tyrese at all. It's a completely different character, and one that's not built like the old Tyrese at all.

Don't really see a difference alot of the characters are going to be more grounded since there be portrayed in real life not off of pages, your going to come up with your own interpretation of the characters when your reading the comics these are what they really are for the most part though the mindnof kirkman and co

You don't see a difference? In the comics, Tyrese didn't seem to have a problem getting in the mix at anytime. In this one, he whines about having to kill walkers on the fence and then whines about having to make runs. Tyrese was head strong in the comics. In the show, Tyrese is way more dependent and basically just follows whoever is ordering him around at the time. In the comics, Tyrese and Rick are real close. In this one they barely have a relationship at all. That could be trivial if not for the fact that it looks like based on the previews they will use some of the events from the comic in the show. They won't mean anything given that the dynamic between Tyrese and Rick doesn't exist.

Again, I'm not saying this Tyrese is a bad character. He's just not Tyrese. It's not a matter of being more grounded. His characterization is simply different.

so wait, one of the burned bodies was the puerto rican chic that tyrese was simping right?? who was the other one tho??

It was the dude that was helping cut down the walkers at the fence on the first episode. He was called out as being sick to because someone saw him coughing after the outbreak. I think his name was Doug or Eddie.

oh ok

see, what the show is missing is meaningful plot twists. it seems like they are scared to make big changes. if you notice, during the first two seasons, going from place to place is what made wild shit happen to them and brought more realism to the show

in downtown atlanta, stuck in the deptment store. zombies break glass, meryl gets left behind handcuffed to the pipe

make it out of downtown to the outskirts, but still have to make runs in town for supplies... camp destroyed by hoard, ppl die, confusion and disagreement is caused ppl go their separate ways

take the highway to try and get to the outskirts, find that the cdc is within reasonable reach to try and make it to. cdc explodes due to security reasons

continue to take the highway to less populated area, run into road block, hoard of zombies come, chase sophia out into woods, leads to finding herchels farm

herschels farm is over run after a realistic time period of being able to chill there, forced out, group finds prison

now i understand that they really want to hold down the prison, but amazingly, these are the toughest odds they find themselves in (govenor, hoards etc) yet they arent forced out yet.

the farm may or may not have been too long of a stay, but the prison is DEFINITELY too long of a stay. you have the manpower now to get to a better place. stop dragging this prison/woodbury bullshit out. its ruining the show

I'm surprised so many people are still enamored by this show.

and it's like the writers know this and don't feel the need to even pay attention to details, just write any ole nonsense because they know there are those that will STILL defend the bullshit.

And long as they have the ratings and advertisement, they can continue to do a half ass job.

I stuck around like many others, hoping that the show would get that old sharpness and edge missing since the 1st season. and it showed a lil in S2 but after that..............

The constant change in show writers and producers continue to become evident

i really don't consider it a problem, but it is a "problem" that so many hands are in this cookie jar. Just about each episode is directed or produced by someone different, so each director/producers' vision for that episode closes, adds, and moves forward from the previous just about by their own terms. So now you're going to get inconsistencies in plot/storylines, character development, etc.

Each director/producer will see to each character as they see them for their own purpose and for a stretch, will run with it, until their run is up with handling the series. Then the next director comes in with an idea, pick up where the last left off, continue the previous idea or close the loop and add on.

If they just stuck with the reference material and just depicted it on screen, all would be well, with the exception of those who will complain that they already know what's going to happen. Yes, they are taking liberties with the series, but for the sake of TV and 16-18 episodes per season, there has to be lag time for each director to tell their side of the story, then focus on characters, then move forward in some relateable way to the comic. But the switching back and forth sort of hinders the moving forward aspect for the characters.

As for the fresh walker getting it's head smushed, it's TV. They probably had some extra effects laying around for shock value, and it worked, folks talking about it (though for the wrong reason). Some things, you're just going to have to suspend reality and be entertained. Just like, why didn't the guy that was sleep when Patrick tore his throat out, didn't even move. He simply opened his eyes and took getting getting his throat torn and gutted like a true masochist in all sense of the word. He didn't even flinch. No complaints here, just the effect was nasty enough.

Like seriously? Cause a fresh walker getting it's head smushed as if there are real world logic to apply to fantasy creatures. It's like me saying the transporter in star trek shouldn't sound like that when no technology like it exist in this world.

I mean I'm all for opinions but As long as you make it easy to defend I will be here cap and all because that's a weak argument lol. FYI most if not all tv shows have a different writer/director per episode after first season. The producers never change.

Yo that shit was hilarious when that dude got his neck bit and then just lays there lol. THAT was shitty.

To me the worst is walkers sneaking up on people, especially in the woods like they don't make no sound with their foot steps. It's really just a fad of a TV show, people don't care it started awesome and then fell off they just want their opiate.
