I wasnt referring to you, i actually considered your point, and for the most part agreed with it. Again, I already stated, i was born in a 3rd world country, as i have mentioned before many of times on this forum, so of course, I know what one is. You ask is the US and underdeveloped country? In present terms, no, it isnt. My post clearly makes reference to the future, and i gave factors that are contributing to the decline in the system, thereby rendering my usage of the word legitimate, 3rd world to me, means poor, plain and simple.

Take a look around, your money isnt worth what it was 3yrs ago, other countries are buying up our assets, we are, and will continue to outsource jobs, because we cant afford to pay the people here that demand higher wages to do the job, our social security will be virtually nonexistent in the coming decades, college tuition continues to rise, making it more and more difificult to get a proper education, we have over 660million homeless people in the US and over 1.6 billion living in shelters, or getting assistance from shelters, we have the largest prision system in the word, outrageous credit card debt, tremendous debt owed to China, Japan, UK, and OPEC. Not to mention a total debt of over $12,868,394,105,918.43. Citizens bear that debt to the tune of $41,738. And it continues to rise everyday. If thats not poor to you, then you tell me what is.

So now you tell me what do you think of that? Instead of splitting hairs and playing the semantics game, get pass that, and talk to me about the real condition this country is in and where its headed.

My apologies if you weren't talking to me. As I said previously, the US is heading down a destructive path. That I agree with, but it's not becoming a Third World country based on the things you said. That's not me splitting hairs, that's just responding to the title of your thread. Just a piece of advice, if you make broad statements, be prepared to back them up. You have no clue how economics and trade works, that obvious.

The exchange rate of the dollar against other world currencies has been dropping for about 15 months. It's come down 25 percent against the European euro. And its down about 10 percent on average against currencies as a whole.That means that when Americans buy things with dollars, we have less that we can buy, and less purchasing power because the dollar is worth less against those currencies. This also means we buy more from other countries, then they buy from us. And thats just a tiny example. If you cant understand how that changes the dynamics of the system, then there is nothing else to discuss.

I did read what you said, in this thread, and in my other thread, where, you yourself bought in other currencies to try and prove your non-existent point, so now your sounding not only hateful, but also like a hypocrite. The reason i gave an example of exchange rates, was only to demonstrate the continuos weaking of the dollar, as i stated earlier, in that very same post, if you cant grasp the simple dynamics of how that changes the system, then there is nothing else to discuss.
