Animals are made of the dust of the ground. God makes everything alive. God is life. The soul is needed to give life to all creatures.

What separates the soul of man from the soul of animals is that mankind is created in the image and after the likeness of God, thus we have moral responsibility to God. Animals on the other hand were not created in the image, nor after the likeness of God, thus they have no moral responsibility to God. Amen.

No the spirit gives life to creature. Only humans have souls. Like I said before the soul is what connects spirit to matter. Other living creatures live off of pure instinct. And ofcourse and atheist would disagree they only beleive in a material reality. Oh and im not a bible thumper I study metaphysics.

Animals are a different order of creature to man. The "morals" that they show are the laws that God gave them to operate in their part of creation. Man on the other hand was created to rule and have dominion over the animals.

"And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth." Genesis 1:26

Mankind is not subordinate to the animals. We are only subordinate to the Creator. Thus our moral responsibility belongs to the One who created us in His image and after His likeness. That's why we have a different destiny than animals when we die. Mankind must give an account to God for the life He lived on planet earth because of our position in the created order of Gods universe. BUT,

See mankind is not without hope on the day of judgment! God provided a way for man to be reconciled back to God, through the LORD Jesus Christ. God didn't become a animal to redeem animals, because animals have no sin nature. God became a man to redeem man because man has a sin nature. The sin nature of man separates us from God. But God in His sovereign will and power decided to become a man in order to save man from His sins. That's why all who confess Jesus Christ as LORD and believes in their heart that He rose from the dead, shall be saved from the judgment to come. Hallelujah! As a matter of fact, God even says that as far as the east is from the west, so far will He remove a mans transgressions from His sight. All one has to do is trust and believe that God saved man through the person of Jesus Christ. If you do, you will be in the kingdom of God forever and ever. Amen.

Strange you say that animals have "souls", because their souls would need to pass some where if ours do. But all believers I have ever met and know do not believe animals have souls.

I don't see how gods image or likeness is proof for a soul though, or the "breath of life", the bible itself isn't fact.

The funny thing is if Gods word wasn't true why was it predicted in the Bible thousands of years ago that man would believe what false prophets(scientists and so called experts) were speaking but the same people would go against Gods word. This thread only proves God right

What the Christian bible says about the process of false "prophecy":
