So your seriously not gonna give Dre any credit for Eminem being where he is today????

Eminem is the only reason why Dre has any relevance today. Let's be realistic, Dre fell off over a decade ago when he dropped "2001" in 1999. Since then, Eminem has been breathing the breath of life into Dre's chronic deflated lungs.

Eminem >> Dre as a rapper, producer, and figure in hip hop.

We all know this is a subliminal Eminem thread but really, there's no argument for him...just to put it in the air

Edit: Maybe timbaland, but he put on a lot of non rappers

No, Eminem is an integral part of hip hop, his career has already eclipsed Dre's and he did it in half the time that it took Dre.

Dre has been "working" on an album for the past 11 years and the first two songs to leak from the album weren't even produced by him. He doesn't even write his own lyrics, so what the fuck is his purpose in hip hop now? Let someone else produce and write for him, and he just spits? Oh, Dre is trying to be Puffy now, I get it.

Eminem >>> Puffy Jr.

None of that disproves what I said

Nobody gave a fuck about Em until Dre put him on...see the Infinite. It was Dre's production and cosign that made Eminem accessible to the mainstream, it was dre's already established fanbase that helped bring Em to the forefront...who was doin the production on the albums that put em on the map at the beginning of his career?

Who did the production on 50's diamond album?

Who was behind the sound that gave snoop his only classic album (that sold 6 million copies btw)?

And how the fuck has eminem eclipsed Dre? As a rapper? Dre was never a real rapper to start

It was Iovine and Interscope that put him on, not Dre. People didn't buy Eminem albums to hear Dr. Dre's beats, they bought them to hear Eminem rap about the pain in his lifie, growing up poor on Dresden street, and his humor when dissing himself and pop stars.

Dr. Dre didn't produce 50's entire album and 50 never went Diamond either, but don't let facts get in the way of you trying to win an argument with me.

According to reports, Daz and Warren G produced records on Doggystyle but were never given credit for them, who knows who ghosted the production on that album.

lol @ saying "Dre was never a real rapper" but being dumb enough to bring him up when the question is "Which rapper made the most other rappers go platinum?"

you're a fkn idiot man I can see why people hate you here... Dre produced the majority of Doggystyle, of course there's other producers/people that put their input in that's how things work... if Daz and Warren G produced all that sutff then how come Warren G and Daz's albums didn't have no where near as good production as Doggystyle... Dre did produce a good part of GRODT and made him with that "In Da Club" beat... and He also went diamond as well
