These rappers aren't slick. Lines like that are bait and 9 times out of time, it isn't bait for another rapper. Rappers do this to bait fans. They know there's heads thirsty for a rap beef, so they play on that with lines like the ones in this thread. People will see it or hear it and get amped for a potential beef. They then check out the rest of the album for any other alleged "subliminals". Bottom line: it's a way to potentially gain new fans without spending really doing anything. This will at least get Jay fans that aren't necessarily Jay fans to listen to the song and probably the rest of the album to see if he says anything else "directed" at Jay. Of course Jay benefits from this too. At the end of the day, Wayne can just deny he said anything about Jay.

jada signed to roc to release his last album, and roc folded right before his album was released which fucked over his marketing, promotion, all the shit that a label is supposed to do. like i said, i dont know if hes upset by that or not, according to kames post hes not. i just know i would have been a little heated over it, thats all.
